While out and about caching in Victoria I spotted these carriages.

They are just outside the town of Blackwood near Mt Blackwood.

In not bad condition too considering their age.

When I take my car for a drive just to give the battery a whirl I drive past this old carriage all the time but when I saw this cache I couldn't remember where I'd seen one Doh lucky for me Mr dimor remembered as he sees it sometimes when he is at work, so I gave him the duty of just driving me out not long ago Laughing .
Probably the only thing it gets used for now is feeding the white ants.

Many years ago we walked into East Pillinger in South West Tasmania. It was a long walk for one cache and then another lengthy walk to West Pillinger for another cache find.
But whilst there we took a photo of an old abandoned train carriage, and it was under that that the cache was hidden.
So now years later a full days walk nets us another smiley!!!
The photo shows our two muggle friends that did the walk with us and Mr Beetle in front of them.
Thanks.

Hi Gullivers
These old abandoned train carriages haven't and won't move for a long time
They were found while doing a cache in Devonport, Tasmania
A new cache has since replaced the old one
I found the old cache but not the new one as yet
TFTC and cheers

Having read the criteria I think this one will should count. The Railway line that went through to Murgon to Kingaroy was pulled up some time ago. These are still on tracks at the old station. Not in the bush as such butr still not going any where and slowly falling to pieces through lack of maintenance.
