Description

This trail walk has become one of my regular evening activities. It is just the right amount of incline to be exercise while also being enjoyable. The views of the twinkling lights as night falls are delightful. Up to you what time of day you choose, but I recommend twilight.

GLISS! was with me when I hid the cache and will log after the FTF.

Out with LuckyL10n and Smittengranny for a day of caching and after grabbing another GCA down at the start of the trail, it was off to this one. A few other hardy souls out on hott-ish day but once at GZ we had the place to ourselves. Cache was found, log signed and then it was back along the trail to head off for a few more. T'was a big day, with more logs to come.

Thanks for this one Nibletricecakes....

#GA5060 - 10:00; A caching mission with Sol de lune and Smittengranny was planned a couple of weeks ago and the day had arrived. We had a heap of GCA caches and trigs along with a smattering of GC caches as well. Grabbed another close to the start of the track, then headed in for our longest walk of the day to grab this cache. no problems once we reached GZ and the log was duly signed. I was out caching with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10N today. A great day thanks to all the work SDL did preparing for this adventure. There was a mixture of GC and GCA caches - trads, multis, mysteries, trigs, virtuals and podcaches . Not all of us needed to find all the caches but there were enough to keep us all busy and very satisfied with the day's efforts. It has been very hot and I think we were all happy to call it a day when we did.
Apologies for the generic logs and big thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches. The logs were all signed as required or photographed if that was what was needed.

I'm catching up on logging gcas tonight. Now that this one has been found, I'll log. This walk is a favourite of mine. I always seem to be here at night - the lights of Gungahlin are lovely. I look forward to walking it again soon. TFTC

FTF @0720 ... been missing out on all the GC ones being published at the moment, and was surprised this one wasn't snaffled too. I was actually still up (after sleeping in all morning, and getting nothing much done in the afternoon and evening, then finally sort of getting into doing a couple of things after Midnight) when, at about 5:30am I decided to check my email and maybe go to bed before the Sun came up ... it was 6am by the time I had finished being distracted by something else, and actually checked my email, and for some reason I decided to look at the daily GA one and saw this cache listed as published ... decided to look where it was ... and decided that I was awake enough to just stay up, and come and find this ... sorry - it was getting light by the time I grabbed a mug of coco puffs and milk for breakfast (that I ate while driving here Smile, put some shoes on, gathered up my stuff and dashed out the door ... but I was treated to some pretty for, clouds and Sunrise colours on the way driving, and an almost amazing view of fog in a valley as I walked to GZ ...
TFTC - lovely morning walk, nice easy find ... then I somehow ended up taking photos, of a fantastic view of fog over parts of Canberra, from the top of One Tree Hill ... because I was sort of almost nearly half way there Smile
... and now that I am nearly almost sort of half way to a blue sad face further along, I might go and see if I can avenge a DNF from the caching tour here, during Clearwaters Mega Smile
