"Night Attack" by The Angels. I saw some graffiti once that said something like "The Angles ROCK" with a reply "The 90 degree ones?"
THE CUT & PASTEY BIT: I’m not sure how long some of these locationless GCA caches will be around for, but there’s only a finite number now that Covid is hopefully mostly past. In any case I was enthused today to check out my old records, and I hope you like the photos! I know I will enjoy checking out the galleries after to see what other people have added. Cheers all!

I found out about Bonnie Raitt in the early 90s when I was out seeing lots of great Sydney singers like Tania Bowra, Shauna Jensen, Tracy Yarad and Wendy Matthews. They all seemed to have a Bonnie song on their set list.
Another one to add to the series...
This time it's the letter N, with the Mitch Miller album, Night Time Sing Along. Another artist my mum was a fan off and I can remember Mitch Miller albums playing at home while growing up. With TV nothing like it is now, mum would often play albums after the 7.00pm ABC news rather than watch anything. Seems like eons again now.
Thanks for another one SG....

The "N" album from our collection is "Negro Spirituals". The required photo has been added to the Gallery. Thanks Smittengranny for the cache.
Nana Mouskouri’s 20 Solid Hits.
Another of my late mother’s Collection.
Not my cup of tea at all, and don’t remember ever having heard it played.
Now that vinyl records are becoming popular again we may acquire a record player and play them all again for old times sake.

Nebraska is the sixth studio album by Bruce Springsteen, released on September 30, 1982, by Columbia Records. Springsteen recorded the songs as demos on a 4-track recorder, intending to rerecord them with the E Street Band, but decided to release them as they were. Nebraska remains one of the most highly regarded albums in his catalog.
The songs on Nebraska deal with ordinary, down-on-their-luck blue-collar characters who face a challenge or a turning point in their lives. The songs also treat the subject of outsiders, criminals and mass murderers with little hope for the future – or no future at all – as in the title track, where the main character is sentenced to death in the electric chair. Unlike previous albums, which often exude energy, youth, optimism and joy, the vocal tones of Nebraska are solemn and thoughtful, with fleeting moments of grace and redemption woven through the lyrics. The album's reverb-laden vocals and mood combined with dark lyrical content have been described by music critic William Ruhlmann as "one of the most challenging albums ever released by a major star on a major record label." Because of the album's somber content, Springsteen chose not to tour in support of the album, making it Springsteen's first major release that was not supported by a tour, and his only such release until 2019's Western Stars.

Todays contribution to the letter "N" LP is Newley Delivered by Anthony Newley. Another belonging to my late wife, however, I do remember enjoying it when it made to the record player. Thanks Smittengranny.

Non Stop by the Village People is today's album choice.
When going through our albums choosing ones for this locationless our 9 year old grandson knew of the song YMCA and asked for it to be played REALLY LOUD!!!
Of course we obliged. We were certainly surprised that he knew of this song.
Thanks.

I believe this is the first album I actively acquired on my own in either 8th grade. I traded with a kid I went to school with and who lived the same apartment complex, Ronnie Hollingsworth. You can still see his name on the cover (urgh) and what I guess was his previous address. I can't quite remember what I traded him for it, though. Maybe the Peter Criss solo Kiss album? I think I made out.
