Description
In my travels I have seen animal skeletons in museums or just plain out about. To log this cache you need a photo of an animal skeleton (not one still with any meat on) and the coords also maybe a little blurb about it why it is there or what sort it is etc.
Logs
A skeleton of a whale. At The Killer Whale Museum, Eden, NSW.

While out looking for a hiding spot for a cache I saw this bird skeleton. I was worried about snakes as near a small dam but something else got this bird. Using for the Cacheopoly games. TFTL

We were in the city for any appointment when the afternoon rain arrived. We had time to spare so ducked into the museum where we spotted a couple of thylacine skeletons on display. Remembering that we needed an orange locationless cacheopoloy cache in order to move on we took a couple of photos. We have added one to this log.
The display highlights the major differences between the male and female as well as the interesting spinal/tail structure.
Thanks for this locationless cache Corunnaroad.

Looking for a cache hiding spot, we parked right beside these bones.

This is a Thylacoleo skeleton in the Wellington Caves, Wellington, NSW. The Thylacoleo was the largest mammaleon predator in Australia when the Aborigines arrived. Some species may have been as big as a lion, but they were marsupials related to wombats and not related to cats. Thylacoleo were first discovered in the Wellington Caves.

Albany Whaling Station at Cheyne’s Beach Frenchman’s Bay 2018.
These two whale skeletons were quite impressive to see the actual size of these majestic creatures.
This was a sad but interesting place to visit.
Thanks to corunnaroad for this chance to share this skeleton image.

Spotted this one in Te Papa Museum in Wellington NZ. Lots of other great stuff in there as well, but using this as it's so big.

The posted co ordinates are close to where this poor kangaroo did not make the fence. There is a Cache GC89R3Q not that far away.
A friend who lives on a property just up the road told me that it could have been shot and got away for a short time. I was out in this area many times over two years assisting in placing hides for QOGM 2019 at Blackall. TFTL
