Description

Some suburbs and streets have extremely long names which are difficult to spell and even more difficult to say. To log this cache simply take a photo of a street sign or place name sign where the name has 12 or more letters. In the log maybe mention a bit about where it is etc. Give coords as well.

Logs

Northumberland Road

Spotted this sign while out at table cape. The name doesn’t sound very intriguing could be interesting area of a night

Another interesting place to visit. Even the name of the Wambangalang Environmental and Educational Centre is a mouth full.

Woolloongabba - this is where we are staying as our other accommodation is unavailable due to no power. I did not realise the Silver Lining would be a Locationless cache for the Cacheopoly game

There is a street name not too far from home which has 12 letters in it's name excluding the word DR (for DRIVE).
It is SOUTHERN CROSS DR
The photo was taken at night. A flash could not be used as the sign was reflective and the name of the street could not be seen.
Thanks corunnaroad for the cache.

Took this photo last week while on the way to Launceston caching - yes we are very lucky here in Tassie and can actually cache properly again!
It is Smith and Others road near Sassafrass on the Bass Highway.
Guess the road name is self explanatory.
Thanks.

Last week we had the opportunity to head out to Beaufort to have lunch with good friends , as well as completing a couple of GC caches that t=had recently been published. Before heading home we drove- out 12km to rectify a DNF a=near the Lake Goldsmith Steam and Vintage Rally site. As we turned toward the cache we spotted the road sign. had to stop and take a picture. Carngham-Lake Goldsmith Road. 22 letters. One of the benefits of living in the country. I suppose where some street names are just the from and to town names.

Today I really broke out from isolation and went caching with a great bunch of friends in an area where there are masses of difficult mystery caches that have required hours and hours of work to solve with weekly zoom catch ups to encourage one another and share where we are up to. It is in the Goorooyarroo Nature Park. We all had a beaut time but most of us are b.... (bushed!!!!) Thanks for this locationless corunnaroad It has allowed me to complete Undercover - Alfa, Bravo, Charlie... GA15664 DancingDancingDancingClan CerberusClan CerberusClan Cerberus

Another day and forever grateful that we live in a country that has managed the virus situation much better than some other countries. I just hope that the folk that went to all the rallies over the weekend do not start off new cases of the virus. Thanks again, for this guy I had to go for a little drive to LOWER PAPER MILL ROAD so 14 letters. There is also an UPPER PAPER MILL RD ClappingClappingClan Phoenix

This sign is at or close to S37° 34.201' E140° 21.601' and is the bypass road around Millicent SA. As well as having a long name the road runs for about 13 kilometres.

I went for a little walk around our village this afternoon in search of a couple of photos. Unfortunately, my phone's battery died while I was out so a photo of a manhole cover will have to wait for another day. Fortunately, though, the battery didn't die before I'd taken a photo of this sign showing one of quite a few streets in the village that has at least 12 letters in its name. The streets all relate to the First Fleet, either the ship (which all have less than 12 letters) or people who sailed to Sydney with the convicts, most of which have 12 or more letters in their name.

Thanks for putting up a somewhat different locationless for us to tackle corunnaroad.

And there is also a very X-tremely long bridge nearby with the same name.
Thanks for the cache,

Naringalingalook is between Katamatie and Yarroweyah in Victoria.
Unfortunately it is now shown on their maps and street signs as Naring.
But I have always loved that name.
Another one nearby I’d Upotipotpon but it only has eleven letters.
Thanks for the cache corunnaroad
