Description

Occassionally, when out geocaching, I discover cars that have ended up in strange places and positions.  To log this cache, post a photo of an automobile that is in the wrong place.  Please also include co-ordinates.

How????
How????

This cache can be logged up to three times (as long as someone else has logged in between yours).

Don't know why people park like this, but it is extreme.....Jimboomba Queensland

This was spotted a few years ago out from Picton. We used to see lots of them on our travels. TFTC

We only found this car in the bush due to caching, been there a few years i bet.

When walking part of a trail near Altona in Victoria we came across two cars "parked" on a container. One looked in good condition, the other was well past its prime. The required photo has been added to the Gallery. Thanks GLISS! for the cache.

Today we were out placing some caches when we came across this example of extreme parking.
It was found at S41 16.891
E146 15.257.
Unfortunately this bit of bush near our place is a regular dumping place, but we have never seen a car there before.
Thanks.

This little car has been parked in the paddock, alongside Westernport Highway for a few years now.
It looks like it ran off the road and was abandoned by the driver.
Thanks for the cache, GLISS!

Spotted this neat parking at Tarcutta while on the way to Melbourne. Nicely done, but they need some help I'm sure.

Thanks for the fun and something else to look out for Gliss!

This car was parked so extremely in a little reserve in O’Conner, ACT, that it is now in chunks scattered across the landscape. This one certainly won’t be recovering from the crash Shocked Found whilst out collecting caches with a geobuddy in the area. Thanks for the crazy cache! Thanks for the fun.

On a rail trip to Whangamomona - The Lost World - in NZ saw quite a few of these from the little golf cart buggy we were in. It travels along the old rail line.

GCA 3,582. Another neat locationless completed.

This is 'Black Bob's Old Car' - the site of a cache off the side of the Hume Highway north of Goulburn. The car - what's left of a Holden FE - is perched near the edge of a big cliff overlooking Black Bobs Creek - a couple of hundred metres from any roads. How - or more importantly - Why it got here is anyone's guess.

I have found countless cars, trucks, boats, bicycles and just about anything you can think of out in the woods while geocaching.

I found the pictured one in Maryland, USA and also logged it on the Terracaching website as a locationless cache called: Found on road dead (or perhaps in a field) (LCOW) on 8/17/2014.

Working towards 100 GCA finds. This is #82. Thanks for the fun.

There is a rough 4WD track nearby where this vehicle is "parked" but I still don't understand how it got there. My only thought is that it was stolen and pushed down the hill many years ago. Approx coordinates are
S35 35.797 E149 27.010 It looks like agreat place to hide a cache and if I had had one with me I would have placed one there. Thanks for this cache Gliss! ClappingClappingClan CerberusClan Cerberus

Near our now vacated office at St Leonards in Sydney, one guy used to find an interesting way to park his 4WD, and avoid the parking meters and time restrictions in the area. Just because you can I suppose. Thanks GLISS!

I was holding off making my claim with this photo as I was not sure if I could claim it.
Now that I have seen a few other images similar to this one I will now make my claim.
The intersection here in East Bundaberg is at the intersection of 4 streets at an meeting at an angle at Traffic Lights and there is a car park for customers at the shopping centre on the corner of Scotland and Princess streets.
Some people miss the corner and drive through the car park of this shopping complex.
I think this one was actually parked and went forward instead of reverse in front of the shop. TFTL Clan MinotaurClan MinotaurClan Minotaur

Hi GLISS!
Was on my home and found this one parked in a very unusual situation in Sorell, Tasmania
Wondered if the driver had tried to get an appointment with their ALP member and this was the only way he/she could get it
TFTC and cheers

This car was found out by the old Eyre Hwy, left to the wonders of nature as it was too far for the owners to travel back from Sydney to collect it. Sad
Thanks for the great Locationless Cache.

Got a call late at night to tell me everyone was okay but the Ute was upside down in a ditch 3 hrs from our Bunbury home and about 10 minutes from our Walpole property. Thankfully I was able to get one of the neighbours to rescue the 5 of them. They were fine, but the eggs and bread and the Ute weren’t. My other neighbour pulled them out the next day and towed it to the Walpole property. Thankfully there has been no more upside down parking since then. Shocked TFTC
