What a great cache! Perfectly positioned to give the satisfaction of walking to access it, without being too hard. Even the climb up has an easy gradient. I'd spent the day in somewhere I was glad to leave and a gentle evening ramble to collect this cache was much appreciated. I continued up the gorge for a while, until the light started to fail and then re-traced my path back to the car. The history of this gorge would be interesting. I wondered if there was once a track right through to the other side of the range, similar to Germain.

Found It!
Today was the prefect day for this one. Not too hot or cold and the creek was slowly flowing as I walked up the gorge. Great little place I've never been to before! (or even knew existed!) A quick scramble up to GZ and after the kangaroos hopped out of the way I found the cache in the first place I looked! The cliff faces look man-made so I guessing there is some interesting history to this location...

Spent this weekend looking up hides that I thought are affected by the Bangor fire or the floods that followed.

This Cache is still in good condition even though the fire burned up to and around it, (saved by the rock ledge).

Please note that access to the site is even rougher than it used to be.

Found it !! was really easy, just a real climb to get to it. Is at the listed coordinates S33° 9.118' E138° 8.793'
Take your own pencil as the 3 pens there are dodgy or don't work.
Thanks for the experience.

Well the containers still there and in surprisingly good condition, by the logs,no one has signed it since 2007 and that was by Freddo on his 4610th find.As for me it was my 2761st.I enjoyed the stroll and then the climb and as stated, one must be careful. No water anywhere except my brow, back of my neck and arms from the final assault, thanks J&J, I enjoyed this one, tftc Mr. Green
