Column - Caroline Springs Lake

A few new geocaches around Caroline Springs Lake for no other reason than to get you out and about after a year of being locked up in the house.

A 1 litre sistema container is hidden along the pathway here, just watch out for the many muggles that enjoy walking around the lake and this should be an easy find.

Lucky for me a short gap made for a quick duck and retrieve.

Nice quick find.

I sat on the step and signed the log.

Admired the lake view and moved on.

Today we spent our day geocaching in and around the Caroline Springs area, This was one of 28 finds. Cache and contents are in good condition.

The overcast sky saw a reduction in the number of people using the pathway so we were able to search untroubled. Cache was quickly located and was in good condition. We again removed a build up of dirt from the clips but left the layer on the lid as it adds to the cache camo.

Thanks for another in the series. It is a lovely walk and it is obviously well used by the community.

Sol de lune

Next stop and we were on a roll. No problems here and we sort of guessed GZ as we approached. Another one quickly found, log signed for a second FTF of the day before the cache was replaced and recovered.

#GA4983 - 07:54; In Melbourne with Sol de lune for a flying visit to collect some items and get them delivered in time for Christmas. After another early start today to drop off yesterday's goods, we then headed west to collect some of the newer caches which have appeared since our last visit, while we waited for the next goods collection point to open for business. The lake circuit made for a very pleasant stroll in ideal caching conditions. Enjoyable series in a top location and no real problems locating the various caches, which are all in top nick. No probs here and another bonus *FTF* Dancing
