While the male members of the team walked the floor of Leven Canyon Mrs W & Mrs T attempted this gadget cache.

Made our way to GZ and suprised ourselves at the short time we took to access the log.

Thanks sirius for the challenge today.

While the hubbies were walking in Leven Canyon Mrs T and Mrs W headed off to do this gadget cache (as needed one for a sub research task). Parked above the "live" railway line (we were pleased to see workmen working on it further east so knew we wouldn't fall off the bank under a train) so headed down and across the track and then down again and onto the beach. We then had to fight through the undergrowth until we saw the hint object. Luckily Mrs T knew how to solve the gadget so a quick find of the log. Now back to the car. TFTGC

Accompanied Tronador to this cache. Seen the odd one of these over the years and after a bit of a fiddle it was opened.

Altaire and I solved this one. Thanks for making the puzzle easy and something we were familiar with. We arrived at GZ and scrambled to the required level. Love the gadget. I was scratching my head at times but finally got the cache to open and reveal the log. GZ is extremely overgrown and blackberries are starting to take over, I was a bit worried about snakes. The area needs a good prune. Great location otherwise and I smelt the typical penguin smell and realised there must be a burrow near by. Thanks for the gadget cache, my first one I think.

Hi Sirius
I not only enjoyed this cache, but the walk to the and from the cache as well
Found the cache and took a few minute on how to open the gadget
That done, the log was signed and the cache Sainted at 0956 hours
There were people fishing off the rocks below the cache
A great cache, totally enjoyed
TFTC and cheers

Too nice a day to sit inside doing locationless puzzles so we took the dogs to the dog park for a run and then continued west to grab 4 newly published 'real' caches.
This was the first. Found a track to GZ through some out of control plant. At least it kept the dogs under control and they didn't pull too much.
The cache was quickly located at GZ and Mr Beetle spent some time trying to access the log book while I stood by with the dogs. Could see he wasn't getting anywhere so made a suggestion and voila, it revealed its stash.
Not very often I work these out, Mr Beetle has the more logical brain, I like to think mine favours the artistic side!
Thanks Sirius for another cache.

After checking on a nearby cache we continued on to look for this one. We have visited this spot in the past and carefully made our way to GZ avoiding the triffids that continually tried to trip us up - great cache guardians Sirius Tas.

Had no trouble locating the hide and finding the gadget. After a careful examination we found the means of accessing the log and added our name to the finders.

Thanks for this gadget cache Sirius Tas. It is always nice to find a well thought out cache hidden in a good location. The area was very pretty this morning with high tide and clear skies. Container and contents were in very good condition and the coordinates were spot on.

Hi Sirius,

After the email came through that this one had been published I had to wait until I finished work to go find this one.
so on my way home to Penguin i detoured this way to grab this cache and the nearby moveables.
as i approached GZ the hiding place was spotted and the cache was in hand, and now to extract the logbook,
i remembered previous caches that were a similar shape so i started with a few different methods then bam out came the logbook.
with a blank logsheet giving me a FTF @ 5:30pm.
Thanks for the gadget cache and bringing me to this spot, have driven past here plenty of times but never ventured down here.
