We had Worked out the final coordinates for this cache in the off chance we would pass by. Today we noticed that we were only a few kilometers away so detoured and managed to drive to within 7m of the hide. Good coordinates and a useful hint enabled us to make a quick find of a well hidden cache. The container and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for this pod cache Gliss. It was hidden in an interesting spot.

#GA5069 - 13:46; A caching mission with Sol de lune and Smittengranny was planned a couple of weeks ago and the day had arrived. We had a heap of GCA caches and trigs along with a smattering of GC caches as well. We had covered Belconnen, Hall, Gungahlin and North Canberra and now headed further south to the foothills of Mt Ainslie. A quick find and sign once we reached GZ. TFTC GLISS! Out with LuckyL10n and Smittengranny on a hot day of caching and this was our next stop. A bit or a circle route took in these two podcaches, and with no problems at either we were soon back at the car and in the air conditioning....

Thanks for the 3rd in this series Gliss!....hopefully there might be one or two more. WinkWink

Last night I noticed that one of my Research Tasks for this week was find and log three podcaches on the same day. Recently we were encouraged to place these and thanks to two of my friends there were more than three available for me to find. This was #2 and extended my walk today so that 10 000 steps was easily reached in the most pleasant environment. There were plenty of roos watching my every move , even the joeys poked their heads out to see what I was up to. Cache was found easily enough and log now carries my initials - SG Thanks GLISS! I love these and need a lesson on how to place one. DancingDancingClan CerberusClan Cerberus

Out for a drive with Black Bunny. The wind was nasty, the cold was something else, but the caches were worth the trip!
In the few patches of sunshine, we saw kangaroos lying and soaking up the little sun they could find. Thanks, Gliss!

Out with Just a cacher for a Sunday drive and we decided to grab a cache or two as we passed by. A quick grab here today.
