Description
Jessica's Frog
Artemis, the froggy goddess of the hunt, wild animals and the wilderness. Frogs were the only animals held sacred to Artemis herself. On seeing a frog larger than a toad with horns shining, she fell in love with these creatures and held them sacred. Frogs were also the first animals she captured. She caught five golden horned frogs called Elaphoi Khrysokeroi and harnessed them to her chariot. Artemis loves to be found, but please respect her wishes.
Artemis is about 30cm tall and she will blend in to all green environments, so you may need to hide her well. Pictures of Artemis will appease her froggy vanity.

Logs
I guess Artemis has met her marker, so we'll archive the cache to stop annoying people.
Had a quick look for this one.
Wonder if DaFiChNi Team could confirm it is still in place?

Hmmm the GPS would not settle well but I check all the posts in the vancity with no luck this afternoon heading back to Launnie to fly home after a week in Tassie with Zhaomin. Might need a check from the last hider if possible!
Found a post at the coordinates but no froggy. The post was down so maybe Artemis decided to move on.
Back out again somewhere in downtown Fingal.
Found this fellow while out and about today. We will send him back out shortly
Found this frog and her mate this morning TFTF

Having re-united Artemis with her humourless sibling it seemed a pity to part them, so there's two frogs to find at this location.
Was a bit confused from the logs as to exactly where Artemis was but thought it worth a look on the way past.
Appears to have had a tiff with Larry the Gnome as he was no-where to be seen but Artemis was still in location behind a post. Collected and will move on soon. TFTF

found this fella the other month forgot to type him up. too windy this day to stay long at all. tftc
Artemis missed out on the trip to Interlaken and ended up looking over the Forth Valley on a glorious winter evening. This is what happens to fence sitters though Artemis and Larry are a little bushed. A beautiful view from the look out and a shame that they can not see it.
A big frog to hide under the bark of a big tree. Found after a very quick search of trees in the rapidly falling gloom at Shale Road, I had actually given up the search and was forlornly trekking back to the car when I passed the party tree. Success and now Artemis is off to Interlaken.
This is one big frog to hide. We enjoyed his company.
Found this morning at 9.07am. We will move him along ASAP. He's a good looking specimen and larger than we thought.
A frog invasion at our shack. Having a hopping good time.

Handed to Tassie Trekkers while holidaying at the shack.
Good thing we have been to this spot before as searching just on dark. Nice to see a new frog. TFTF.

Artemis is in a new hiding place with a friend waiting to be collected.
Enjoy the small walk and the hunt.
Cheers OldSaint.

Spotted and signed on a picnic table in Lenah Valley, but still in OldSaint's possession.
Met this fellow with a group of other frogs and a gnome or two at a lovely caching dinner.
Hi Caughtatwork
Got to add this one to my collection of Frogs at the event this evening.
She attended in all her glory!
We had a great evening as did the frogs and gnome that attended.
TFTC and cheers

No better occasion than an event to release Artemis back into circulation to continue the tour of Tassie - picked up straight away.
We had sarched for aches (including moveables) in this area previously and so had a reasonable understanding of the area. We quickly got to GZ and our GPS units were point to a particular location. A thorough search but no success. Then we widened our search area and after a few minutes, Artemis revealed herself - cold and a little damp. She was very pleased to be heading towards a warm car. After giving her time to recover, Artemis will be moved along to continue her exploration of Tassie. TFTC
Welcome to Tassie Artemis very nice to find a new frog in our neck of the woods. A short detour on the way home from work to find this gorgeous frog then a short hop home to spend some time with us. TFTF

Dropped off this afternoon. Not as nice a location as where she's recently been residing, but I don't think she'll be here long.
In fact I think this huntress is about to feel a lot more hunted than she has been for a while.

Collected this frog whilst on a day trip to Melbourne for a trade show. Sky bus got me into Melbourne an hour too early for the show. What to do?
Somehow or other, the GPS had inadvertently been left in my pack so the answer was simple; go frogging!
Artemis popped up as a bit over 5km's away, bit far to leg it, but a bit of head scratching and looking at public transport maps showed the train would get me close so off I went. Sat on the train until the GPS pointed at right angles to the tracks then hopped off at Victoria Park. Still 1300m short but a straight trek down Johnston Rd.
Started feeling a bit sad when I arrived at Studley Boathouse and the GPS showed the frog 100m ahead but there was a river 50m ahead. Fortunately all had been provided for and nearby there was a convenient foot bridge over the river.
Once at GZ, it was a quick find thanks to good co-ordinates and an excellent hint. I must say you Victorians do your frogs well. This was a very pleasant location for a frog to wile away time. Mind you, they do seem to spend a lot of time in one spot, so I suppose you do have to look after them
The best part was that this is a lightweight frog. I'd looked at the description and was dreading her being concrete. 30cm's tall, concrete, and in a backpack all day would not have been fun!
Anyway, a quick detour to collect her sibling, onto the train and back into town. Hot, sweaty and 30 minutes late but with two frogs in the bag. All in all a most enjoyable bit of frogging. Good hint, good co-ordinates, nice weather, nice location and an excellent frog. It doesn't get any better.

After work I found myself with a few hours spare before I was due home so I made most of the time and went out looking for leapfrog caches and some GC traditional caches that seem to have popped up in the last couple of days. While I discovered this cache I am not in a position to move it on, so I’ll leave it in place and re-log the same co-ords so that geocachers see that it’s still available and in place. Thanks for the frog!

Stopped in this bit of the park to pick up Ben (GA3649) and swapped Artemis for him. If Daphne isn't actually here then at least Artemis can tell her about the location .
Grabbed this frog while out hunting for moveable caches in a very froggy park .
This froggy goddess was in a suitably sylvan setting.

Well that didn't go to plan. The idea was to drop the frogs we picked up from Wattle Park this morning near our frog (http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3467) to encourage someone to pick ours up. I ended up entering the park in the wrong place and couldn't find my way across to my frog. Artemis is
hidden behind a tree.
Looks like 10 frogs is too much for me to handle. These coordinates are from Google Maps, I'll confirm ASAP.

The kids needed to get out of the house so a frogging trip to Wattle Park seemed ideal. Picked this one up as 2 of 10 for the morning. TFTF.

Visited Wattle Park this evening to drop off my collected Leapfrogs from yesterday in the bushy reserve.
With a nice cluster of Leapfrogs not too far from home I got up early for a morning frog hunt before work. Artemis was my first, and I swapped her for with Anura who I found yesterday. Unfortunately, Artemis got into a fight with Tania the Smoking Frog and came off second best (she always was footloose and flipper free...) I'll see she gets medical attention before her release in the next day or two.
CROAK! Im hiding here... waiting for move on
Welcome to The Empire's FDG (Frog Dumping Ground)
If I am not going caching on a day after I have grabbed some frogs, I'll dump all my frogs here. It's close enough to my place and not far to travel for the GCA enthusiasts who live in neighbouring suburbs. This should keep more frogs in the game, even if it's not a big move. The park is quiet enough to hide without disturbing too many muggles.
