Description

Ammuntion box.

Well version one was muggled. Version two was swamped with water. Now to try version 3.

Have replaced it with a Ammo box. First container was similar to this one and it walked so I will see if this one will last.

We have had our eye on this spot for awhile and decided to make it a GCA cache instead of the other one.  Located on the Brisbane Valley Highway  North of Toogoolawa. Should be a relatively easy drive by. Safe off road parking.  Largish regular container  so it holds a lot.  As I drive this road regularly I will keep topping it up if needs be and check it on a regular basis.

Turn into the connection road to about three properties.  GZ is north of this little road not too far into the grass.  Have tried to make this one Kid safe and friendly. Lots of swaps for geokids.  This cache is mainly for them.

If you have seen the 1st Movie you will understand the name of this cache.  Close to the road there is a copy of the after and further along this little connection road there is the full before version.  I hope you enjoy this one.

We had to go to Brisbane today and we had a plan to replace this container on the way back. Trip was uneventful. Went prepared with a larger container and all new goodies and a fresh new log book. When I retrieved the old container I had no idea how that much water had actually got into it. The container looks like it has been submerged for awhile back in the big wet. Container is now another Ammunition container. Hopefully this one will not walk like the original container.

Pulled up in what appeared to be a wayside stop, it was a drive way, had to pull forward as a local wanted in. He then came to see what we were up to, gave him a 10 second version of caching and he seemed happy that we weren't lost or broken down and left.
Made a relatively quick find on this well hidden cache. It is a very well stocked cache unfortunately it is full of water. I tipped and rung out what I could but with Mrs RF sitting in the car and the trip back up the range and home still ahead of us I had to leave it.

TNLNSL.
Thanks for the cache youngoldfella.

Heading back to Melbourne from the Sunshine Coast, I found this cache @ 16:45hrs today.
This was my seventh find of nineteen for this trip and I thought I was going to become a permanent local because a muggle pulled up on the main road within viewing distance of GZ and promptly got on his mobile phone. I got sick of waiting and decided that if I made it look like I was answering a call of nature that I might just get away with it.
I promptly found the cache after a very short search. As published it has some really great swaps in it. Dancing

Was driving by and surprised to see this one pop up on the screen, as I had not seen it last time through, cache was quickly found and signed.

The head reminds me of many English style Pubs that I have visited over the years.

Ready to go again. Same co ordinates. Different clue. Different container. Ammo boxes a bit expensive if they are going to keep on being taken. Enjoy.

This one is very easy to find so two DNF's in a row suggests it has gone. Going to Ipswich caching on Wednesday so I will replace this one but with a smaller container.

We had a good look, unfortunately without any success - maybe better luck next time. TFTH youngoldfella

Found the horse then went looking for the cache but after 40 frustrating minutes had to move on. I have a telescopic hoe (bought it at KMart) which I put to good use & made a mess of the surrounds. Then I used it to tap any & all likely spots waiting to hear a clunk but nothing. My GZ was a fallen tree with one burnt fork but looked around all burnt objects then metres to the south of each. Didn't see any likely sticks but grass aplenty. Bugger.

This is my first "First Find" and was very excited about it (hence my outstanding rating).

We were at Wivenhoe doing some white water kayaking and decided to skip up the highway to see if we could grab it.

We added some nice artwork to the title page of the log book, and filled in a little log note. Did not take anything, left all the loot for the GeoKids.

Thanks for the cache, we had a laugh when we got near GZ, the clue is..... interesting.

I found this with my trusty Geo-Partner, who has not registered at this site yet, but She is GoShadow on that "other" one.
