Description
It will depend on whether you have recently left Dubbo or you are heading towards Dubbo as to whether it is Welcome or Farewell to Geurie. The parking is definitely the best if you are heading north.
Geurie is a small village in the central-west of NSW. It has three trail areas that are suitable for mountain bikes, horse riding and jogging. The first 10 kms of track is on Bald Hill an extinct volcano that also has a trig on top if you can find it. Then there are 5 kms more at the local Quarry and another almost 20 kms at Geurie Oaks Flat.
Certainly enough to keep the fittest of us fit.
You don't need to be all that fit to find this cache, but please be careful as the road is very busy.

Logs
This evening I departed Dubbo headed back for the coastline. I was pleasantly surprised when leaving Dubbo I found myself over excited to be out of there. Before hitting the road at 6.30pm I thought I'd probably be stopping at Wellington the night, but after driving out a few km I was pumped. Made it all the way to the Crookwell Wind Farm Lookout at 11pm. Coming over the hill here I got quite a fright suddenly seeing a wind turbine right there in front of me. Hahaha.
Anyhow, 100m from this cache is where I lost my gopro to the tyre of my own WRX whilst teaching my son to drive 6 or 7 years ago. I got him to drive around the block but forgot I'd left the camera out of its case on the roof. It had rolled off. On our way back around the block something went crunch right at this intersection. Heading home I realised I'd left the camera on the roof so we went back to look for it. Bugger. Stuffed it good. Memory card was okay though and I had some good footage from the back roads through canola fields.

#GA5125 - 13:45; Day one of a road trip with Sol de lune as we head north for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega. The weather was fine at last as we set off from the National Capital and made our way towards Narrabri where we planned to spend the night. Stopped off on our way out of Geurie for a quick find and sign on this cache. TFTC Smittengranny

Heading to Dayboro and the QLD Mega and we managed to drive right past this one. Had a laugh at the hint and once the cache was in hand, the log as signed and all was good.

I decided a weekend dash north to finish my inland NSW counties was in order. The aim was Brewarrina for the two Earth Caches. Day 2. After a coolish night I was up and away fairly quickly. I am planning on doing most of the GC caches on my return journey, but I stopped at several GCA caches and even a run of Trigs West of Walgett. The day turned out quiet warm and I camped by the banks of the Barwon River just out of Brewarrina.
A drive by that I was hoping to first for but, second will have to do
Thanks
