Beautiful day for caching ! The mountain is still wearing its hat so far, but quickly burning off. Coffees at Bossini's first then over to The Hub to grab a GA. And onwards to Claude Rd for a combination of GA's and GC's. This one quickly in hand, logged and moving right along for the next on our list. TFTC Hilberts.

Hi hilberts, and thanks for the cache, found with AlbyDangles on a caching weekend based at Gowrie Park, after transporting some Venturer Scouts to their statewide 'Venture' at Arm River Camp last night.
This was our first find this morning as we head out for our day's caching, hardly needed to use the car to get this one really!
Cheers, EPs.

First cache for the day as we head across the mountain and to the Lake McKenzie road to do the GeoArt trail there.
Pulled up right next to GZ and made this one a very quick find.
A wallaby close by watched me deal with this one and didn't seem too concerned about my presence.
Thanks.

Returning home from an an event in Devonport I made the detour to get some caches in the area. A quick find was made. Cache and contents are in good condition.

A Day out with Oldsaint finding some GCA caches for the new Blitz Event. The day was amazing, from snow to blue sky, from heavy showers to dry roads. One leach to report though!
Started the day at 6am, although Oldsaint had driven from Huonville by then. The drive north was interesting, and even though Symons Plains had a race day on, nobody was there at 8am
Proceeded directly to our main target, the Sail Boat Geoart, and completed about 9 before the heavy shower set in, so we decided we could drive to the last during the shower and work our way back. At the last we we greeted by a large amount of snow on the sides of the road, and throughout the tree. We occasionally got "snow balled" from trees above as we were caching. Great day out.
According to the rules of Blitz
Blitz is a dragonZone encounter where you find as many unique valid dragonZone geocaches as you can during a set period of time in an attempt to earn a reward.
Rewards are in the form of dragonZone points but are only awarded if the entire team of geocaches who are playing dragonZone combine to exceed the total number of finds required.
If the entire team of geocachers who are playing dragonZone reach or exceed the total number of finds required then at the end of the game you will receive a number of dZ points based on your percentage contribution of unique finds.
For example:
Make 1% of the total finds, receive 1% of the total rewards points.
Make 5% of the total finds, receive 5% of the total rewards points.
Make 10% of the total finds, receive 10% of the total rewards points.
dZPoints will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.
The more unique geocaches you find the more you are rewarded.
Geocaches you find during the game must have been hidden and published prior to the game announcement.

Was out doing some caching around the kentish area, stopped by this one to have a search for it, after a brief search cache was located and the log was signed.

We needed to find a few caches today to meet the requirements for several rewards tasks as well as meeting the requirements for the October 2020 Challenge. This was first on the list.
The GPS wanted us in the middle of the road but the hint suggested otherwise. We were able to quickly locate the cache container and sign and return it before anyone came by.
Thanks for this cache Hilberts and for bring us back to this little town. Mrs Y'stassie has fond memories of Gowrie Park where a few of her high school friends lived. It was our base for climbing Mt Rolland and exploring the tracks across Mt Claude. Gowrie was a bustling little town in those days - very quiet now.
Container and contents were in good condition.
