The hut is estimated to be early 20th century

Logs
Staying on a night away at lemontymne lodge we decided to tackle a few caches in the area. We managed to find some and not some others.
We had a good time exploring areas that we wouldn’t have normally seen if not for caching.
This one took a little while to find as our gps wanted us 10m further into the bush than we needed to be. After locating the items mentioned in the hint the cache was found. Container was full of water so drained it the log was soaked but we were able to sign the log with our gel pen. TFTC

Spent the weekend camping at Lake Gairdner nearby so headed off to have a look for this cache.
Pulled up opposite the old miner's hut which was in a pretty bad state of repair. Certainly wouldn't have wanted to have a look inside on what was a fairly warm day as I suspect it might have housed the odd venomous inhabitant.
Didn't take long to find the cache. After a solid day of rain the day before we were expecting a wet container. It was so we drained the water and dried the swaps. Luckily the log sheet was nice and dry in its zip lock bag.
Thanks.

After logging some locationless caches this morning we were one find short of a major milestone for GCA finds. So we headed towards Cradle Mountain to look for the cache which had reserved for the milestone. It was a very pleasant day and it was a pleasure to be heading to the Old Miner's Hut. As soon as we got near the area, we realised that we have been here before. We were surprised as to how dry the area was and it is only coming up to the start of summer. After a little hunting around, the cache was located about 10m from the published coordinates. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Hilberts for this cache in a very interesting area. It was a most appropriate cache for our milestone. Some photos have been added to the log.

The milestone is 10000 GCA finds, all of which are unique (ie despite being permitted by GCA, we have only logged each moveable once and each locationless once). Congratulations to Sol de Lune for also reaching the 10000 GCA finds milestone.

Hi Hilberts...have spent quite a bit of time working up this way and have browsed around these old mines.
My close neighbour(now departed) was a joint owner of the All Nations mine.
An interesting area for sure.
The cache was soon found with another ftf bonus.
Terrain rating maybe 1.5....as not wheelchair accessible.
Many thanks Hilberts for another top cache...cheers ST.
