Description

While visiting Baradine we camped here so that we could explore the district. So let me show you around. Here at the Showgrounds you can camp or stay in a unit. All within a day's travel you can discover Sculptures in the Scrub, the Salt Caves and nearby Fire Tower that you can climb, on then to Salt Cave Dam and finally out onto the Newell Highway and travel south to the great Sandstone Caves and Pilliga Pottery.

After her adventure at the nearby cache, Barra Dine Mrs y'tassie was interested to see if this cache had survived. It took us a little while to make our wat to the area where the cache was hidden. The weeds were very high but dry so were easily parted. Spot on coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for this cache TG47. It was pleasing to find it over 4 years after it was hidden and still in such good condition.
