Description
Well there's no barra around here and the only dining that was going on near GZ was by the Baradine Central School's cattle who were grazing over the fence. However the GZ is not far from where it is a good place to pull up stumps for the night if you want to explore the attractions of the Pilliga Scrub. These include the Sculptures in the Scrub, the Salt Caves and the Sandstone Caves. Hint: There are caches at most of these places.
Please bring your own pen/pencil and ensure you replace the cache carefully under its camouflage.

Logs
As we headed north we had intended to spend time in the Warrumbungle National Park however our plans changed leaving us with a little extra time on our hands so we decided to take time to look for 2 cacvhes thaty hadn't been found for some time. This was the first. Mrs y'stassie headed of on a small bush bash keeping her eyes open in case of wriggly sticks. She quicklt spotted a possible hide and made a bee line for it. As she got close she noticed that one side of the object had broken and it appeared to be full of fine dirt. When she reached it she spotted a badly broken, very brittle plastic box full of dirt push up against the broken side. Oh dear she felt the cache contents would be long gone. Never the less she emptied out the dirt careful to keep as much of the container intact as she could. She was amazed when the plastic bag fell to the ground. The base had been eaten but the log sheet was in good condition. She returned to the car and found a mint tih that would hold the log. The log got a new ziploc and after rebuilding the broken side she tucked the new container back into its spot. Hopefully it will last a few years yet.
Thanks for this cache Smittengranny. This visit gave Mrsy'stassie another story to add to her caching tales.
