Description
Granite Drive 1 - The Doctor Knows
This cache will have you stopping at a nice vantage point to view Doctors Nose mountain. Someone had a vivid imagination when naming this rocky hill. The mountain is a listed nature reserve, but access is only available through private property.

I dropped my caravan of at Castle Rock Campground in Girraween National Park and came back here just for this little tour. I am so glad I did this today. It is so amazing. The granite features out here were awesome. Thank you so much for bringing me out here.
I actually missed this cache on my way in as I was distracted by the views. But I didn't want to leave without it so came back the way I drove in. I could hear water trickling nearby so wandered over to check out the creek. It was flowing nicely. Beautiful place. Pic attached.

#GA5168 - 15:10; Day ten of a road trip with Sol de lune for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega. After a big day of caching around Dayboro yesterday, wrapping up with the trivia event in the evening, we set off early this morning for home. The mission for the day was to cache our way south collecting GCA and GC caches along the way, as far west as Warialda before finishing the day at Glen Innes. Now south of the border, we set off for me to grab the Mackenzie trig, then off to see if we could find the Granite Drive series. This was the last stop and final joint *FTF* for the series. Didn't get the puzzle done, so perhaps next time through? Maybe the Doctor Nose? TFTC MattyRx

Next one on our trip around this very cool location. Should have mentioned earlier, we came in from the Mt MacKenzie summit so are doing the caches from 4 to 1 (yep, we missed the puzzle as time was against....and we had to solve it ). No issue here and the cache and log were soon in hand. Interesting formations....gotta love some of the names.
Thanks again MattyRX....certainly enjoyed the drive around...
