Description

Glenorchy Falls is a small, unofficially named waterfall right beside Chapel Street on Humphreys Rivulet. The falls are very easy to find. Simply drive up  Chapel Street, parking at a pullout on your left near the end of the road, where a short flight of stairs leads down to the waterfall. If you miss the pullout you'll soon reach the end of the road, so backtracking to the falls is easy enough.

Glenorchy Falls are not particularly impressive by the standards of most Tasmanian waterfalls, and the area has had issues with litter in the past, but they are a nice oasis in the middle of suburbia and don't require much of a time commitment to visit.

Well this area was a bit of a surprise and taking you to places like this is what geocaching should be all about.
Think this could be a really lovely area with a bit of work.
Wilson was bobbing around in the water at the base of the falls but we'll leave it to Tom Hanks to rescue him!!
Probably should have picked up the GC multi while we were here but we were pretty much just chasing GCA today.
Thanks.

Found this one while waiting for the farmer to be available. A quick find after taking some photos of the falls, such a beautiful area such a shame about the rubbish ruining the area. TFTC Clan Cerberus

This was really enjoyable as we never even knew it was here. The site is a bit littered and needs some restoration, but what a magical little waterfall in this hideaway location. The cache was found at exactly the co-ordinates given (with assistance from your hint, thanks). Very special little spot and an easy, clever hide. Thanks Budgietas! ps. those Eclipse Mints must be super yummy.

I was here for other reasons, but remembered to check the App before I left, and I was 1 metre away!

Last hunt before heading to the Community Event. Have driven past but never stopped to explore so it was interesting to see these falls. Had no trouble locating the container which was safely tucked away.

Thanks for another ET cache Budgietas. Only a few ETs left on our list now.
