Another one that took a good few minutes to spot, but once in hand the log was signed and I was soon heading back to the car.

Our first cache ever! Google maps helped with this one but not the other 2 close by. So we found 2 out of 3 and also learned how to use another GPS app and convert minutes of arc to decimals of a degree. I think we might be hooked.

We were staying 2kms down the road for Christmas and as luck would have it the fellas decided to take a break the Christmas preparations and go fishing. I agreed to come and pick them up a bit later. I collected the latest offerings at the reservoir before joining the fellas who didn't even bother to put their rods in and managed to rope Mr Morris into climbing a tree for me.
I was on my way to the surfcoast and detoured here for some smileys.
This one had me walking in circles for awhile.
Eventually I got myself in the right spot.
Signed the log and moved on.

Having dropped GabGab off at Uni at Waurn Ponds, I took the time to head this way to collect the 3 new Geoacaching Australia geocaches.
A quick look as I approached GZ and the canister was revealed in just the right place for a quick and simple retrieve.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing a Geocaching Australia geocache. They don't get as many finds, but they remind me of the earlier days of geocaching where you would drive and experience the journey rather than blindly follow a trail of mint tins.

well that was a surprise, a late afternoon call from out mate Bushfire and a trip to Wurdiboluc for some caching. Who could refuse.
So a few unexpected finds cant be sneezed at.
All good here today but a but cool for late October.
Thanks to The_Tritonz.

Noticed these caches a couple of days ago and still no finds so a call to my normal caching mates the suscoes to see what they were doing this afternoon.
As they live between the Ant Nest and Wurdiboluc Reservoir I called in and picked up one half of the team and headed off but taking the normal requirements in these COVID times.
On arrival we parked in the Car Park and a short walk to GZ and the container was soon located, signed and replaced so onto the next a short stroll away.
Thanks to The_Tritonz for bringing us back down this after trips in recent days to an area on the other side of this reservoir.
