Off on a day trip from Ballarat to Winchelsea, Colac and Beeac and these Geocaching Australia caches were certainly on the list. This one took a good few minutes to spot, however spotted it was and my name was soon in the log book.
Thanks The Tritonz...great to see a few more GCA caches out in the field. Cache all good.

We were staying 2kms down the road for Christmas and as luck would have it the fellas decided to take a break the Christmas preparations and go fishing. I agreed to come and pick them up a bit later. I collected the latest offerings at the reservoir before joining the fellas who didn't even bother to put their rods in and managed to rope Mr Morris into climbing a tree for me.
I was surprised how high the water level was here.
Another cache that had me walking in circles this afternoon.
All 3 were a little tricky for me to spot.
Eventually got the hat trick.

So grateful to visit here and look around in the rain.
Rain doesn't stop from caching except climb the tree.
Thanks The_Tritonz

3 from 3 today around the reservoir. This one was a little trickier due to the number trees that could hide the geocache but I did come across it after only a few minutes of looking.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache experience here. It's just like the old days. A few geocaches, far, far from home making thr journey as entertaining as the destination.

Suscoe visited here with Bushfire this afternoon.
Cache found.
Strange to think that next week's coffee water is floating in front of us.
Thanks to The_Tritonz.
Time to get a little warmer.

Noticed these caches a couple of days ago and still no finds so a call to my normal caching mates the suscoes to see what they were doing this afternoon.
As they live between the Ant Nest and Wurdiboluc Reservoir I called in and picked up one half of the team and headed off but taking the normal requirements in these COVID times.
On arrival we parked in the Car Park and a short walk to GZ and the container was soon located, signed and replaced.
Thanks to The_Tritonz for bringing us back down this after trips in recent days to an area on the other side of this reservoir.
