A quick find, a well chosen spot.
Swampy and I came back to plunder more of the NW coast over a long weekend. This is day 4, Swampy has gone home and we will be later today. As we stayed in Launceston last night, right across the road from here, it would be a crime to leave these unfound. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time.
This one had luckily missed the fire that had consumed it's fallen neighbours.

Five quick and easy finds about the cemetery.. thanks for another in this most excellent series..!!

We parked near the gate that separates the cemetery from the reserve and Mr Beetle waited with the ute while I walked to this one.
Did a lot of circles before I finally spotted some suspicious looking camouflage that did indeed cover the container.
Checked the GPS and the coordinates were spot on even though they took a long while to initially settle.
Could hear approaching voices and just managed to return the container before they came in to view.
Thanks.

A Day out with Oldsaint finding some GCA caches for the new Blitz Event. The day was amazing, from snow to blue sky, from heavy showers to dry roads. One leach to report though!
Started the day at 6am, although Oldsaint had driven from Huonville by then. The drive north was interesting, and even though Symons Plains had a race day on, nobody was there at 8am
Proceeded directly to our main target, the Sail Boat Geoart, and completed about 9 before the heavy shower set in, so we decided we could drive to the last during the shower and work our way back. At the last we we greeted by a large amount of snow on the sides of the road, and throughout the tree. We occasionally got "snow balled" from trees above as we were caching. Great day out.
According to the rules of Blitz
Blitz is a dragonZone encounter where you find as many unique valid dragonZone geocaches as you can during a set period of time in an attempt to earn a reward.
Rewards are in the form of dragonZone points but are only awarded if the entire team of geocaches who are playing dragonZone combine to exceed the total number of finds required.
If the entire team of geocachers who are playing dragonZone reach or exceed the total number of finds required then at the end of the game you will receive a number of dZ points based on your percentage contribution of unique finds.
For example:
Make 1% of the total finds, receive 1% of the total rewards points.
Make 5% of the total finds, receive 5% of the total rewards points.
Make 10% of the total finds, receive 10% of the total rewards points.
dZPoints will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.
The more unique geocaches you find the more you are rewarded.
Geocaches you find during the game must have been hidden and published prior to the game announcement.

Was working in Scottsdale and on the way back i had a bit of time up my sleeve so grabbed a couple of the Graveyard Dash series.
Also while hiding some moveables near a cache i found a wallet that looked like it had been stolen, so i gave it to the office.
This one was spot on for accuracy as my gps pointed directly at the hide.
luckily was quickly found and signed before muggles came along. TFTC

I saw this series published a few days ago and waited until today when I had an appointment in the area. I enjoyed the walk around the reserve so thank you Hilberts for the cache.

Mrs Y'stassie enjoyed her walk to this cache as there were many little wild flowers blooming beside the track. She was particularly delighted to spot large clumps of her favourite little blue pin cushion. She even spotted several white ones and a one pink.
No problems with GZ for this cache. Her GPS was reading 1m when she spotted a possible hide. Sure enough there was a cache container under the covering material. Another blank log sheet meant a second {FTF} for use at 18:25.
Thanks for the cache Hilberts and for bringing us back to this lovely piece of reserve when the wild flowers were out.
