Of course if you are in a State or Territory that has not required your travel to be restricted, you, too, have escaped the Coronavirus, but in a different way.
Looking forward to enjoying the photos added to the Gallery

Thank you for the opportunity to share a great moment with you. I am currently with a small group caching from Rockhampton to Townsville. On the way north we detoured at Illbilbee to take the road to Cape Palmerston National Park. the road in was bitumen to a certain point then well maintained gravel until you enter the National Park. A good road to the beach. Now why do you thin k we are here. Would it be a cache. Of course it would. Now the choice do I walk the 600 meters and then back to get the cache or do I drive it. Of course as I had a 4WD we all piled into the Blue Beast and drove down the beach and parked up on a hard stand about 4 meters from the cache. Not an easy find thanks to the bushes. Now for the view. The phjoto was taken from GZ looking back towards the ocean. TFTL

I visited Trentham Falls last week. Looks beautiful in late late spring after good rains.

After having had to cancel holiday plans for Far North Qld in April when the pandemic first hit (as well as to Fiji in June and the USA in August, we managed able to escape NSW and have a week or so in Cairns and Port Douglas when the Queensland Government relented and briefly opened its borders to NSW residents in July. It was an unusual experience to be in places that in other years, would be chock full of backpackers and "Mexicans" escaping winter ... but not this year!
This park at the end of Port Douglas' main street is normally full of people taking in the sea views, but not this year!

In WA we only had a very short restriction time so since then we've been having fun going places. Not being home is my 'happy place.'
Photo is from our July/August holiday where we went to the Pilbara area and then the Murchison area. This is the war memorial at Onslow

We managed to escape M town for the day, yesterday.
Went for a drive to Romsey. The main street is decorated with many Christmas trees.
These are of varying sizes, made of a pyramidal steel frame.
Each has been decorated by a different business or organization.
In the background of our photo you may be able to see +Wife in the GeoPrado.
Thanks for the cache Val.

This is where we headed to last week, the climb was made by hubby but the cache eluded us.
Thanks Cybergran V. We escaped last weekend to Wodonga to get a small repair on the motorhome and to visit friends in Albury. On our way we passed through Colbinabbin. There were some old cars outside the pub. I spotted the silos as we drove by. In the way home we stopped to admire this latest bit of Silo Art.

This was taken while riding from Ballan back to Bacchus marsh. It is a wonderful old bridge. There are several caches hidden nearby. Thank goodness this lock down is nearly completely over.

got away for a few days in June to Salamander Bay in NSW. Of course I looked for a few caches whilst there and after finding one I turned around and took a photo of the view. Now added to the gallery.

In September Tassie was still isolated from other States
Most cases of Corona had resolved themselves and the worst affected area, the North west Coast was under control
So on 29th I got the bike out of the shed and went to find caches along the Brighton Foreshore Track
This photo was taken then, in an escape from being locked at home:
TFTC and cheers

In September Tasmania was still isolated from other states albeit for special exemptions and those willing to go into 14 days quarantine. We took the opportunity to take an overseas break to King Island which is part of Tassie. We have many great memories but the one included with this log is City of Melbourne Bay on the eastern side of the island where the City of Melbourne went aground in 1852. Thanks Cybergran V for the cache.
Couple of weeks ago we went for a drive to Mount Keira just to get out of the house and it was refreshing

No hard lock downs in Canberra as such, however we were asked only to travel if required. Had to get of the house on a couple of occasions and this photo was taken on 4th Jul while out getting a bit of fresh air at Mt Pleasant. As it turned out, it was a great winters day in the national capital.

We escaped to Exmouth, swimming alongside the Ningaloo Reef was a memorable moment, especially swimming with the turtles.
Thanks for bringing back the wonderful memories Cybergran V

This week we escaped to the Winton Wetlands to collect 13 FTFs, enjoy the amazing bird life and spotted lots of kangaroos, including this couple that hopped across in front of us.
It’s a lovely area with lots of geocaches, well worth a detour off the Hume Freeway at Winton or Glenrowan.
