Description

Paradise Peninsula - Cremorne

This cache has been placed to celebrate a new Geocaching Australia type and is the first GeoArt placed in Tasmania.

It is called a GeoArt geocache. This new geocache type is a sub type of a traditional geocache where the phsycal geocache container is at the published co-ordinates. In adddition to the published co-ordinates an additional set of co-ordinates are required which will place a map marker in order to display your GeoArt.

The caches have been placed in the general area of "Paradise Peninsula" (as called by the locals) which starts at Lauderdale and ends at Opossum Bay. It is also the area we have called home for over 33 years.  Here you can play BOWLS, golf, fish, go boating, surf, kayak, mountain bike plus many other activities and of course GEOCACHE.

I hope you enjoy the series.

Please bring your own pen. There is room to park off the road near GZ.

Hi whitewebbs, thanks for the cache and this geoArt series.
Yes, it is a little unusual for us to be geocaching down this way in the daylight, but we are.
It's quite sunny now, and despite my accomplice 'carrying a dicky knee' I allowed him the honour of doing all the work here while I sat in the car catching up on my device.
Found with AlbyDangles, on a semi-impromptu caching afternoon.
Cheers, EPs.

Found this cache quickly and thought it was the last of the series. B---a. When doing my logs I found I have missed No. 1. Sad Heading home early tomorrow so completing this series will have to be left until I am next down "south of the border, that is, 42 Degrees". Very Happy

This is the first time we have ever tackled an art series even though there are a few a lot closer to home. Don't really know what they are all about but I guess we'll bungle our way through. This was the first one looked for and found. A bit tricky to deal with on this very busy road.
We didn't have time to get them all today but hopefully we'll finish them tomorrow.
Thanks.

Today was a rare family free day in the south of the state so we thought we'd have a go at some of the caches in the South Arm area. This geoart was published about the same time we were down here last and has been on the to do list ever since. We tackled the caches out of order but in a sequence that made sense for us. We really enjoyed the series, the different hides and the fact that there was parking handy to each of them. Our first geoart finds, woohoo! Thanks for the caches and the series

Thanks for this Geoart series Whitewebbs. Today was a lovely day to look for caches in this area, so the GeoGSP and I headed out for an afternoon of sunshine, visiting beaches and finding caches.
Great hide, cache is all in good order.

After a long walk this morning the grand dog settled down for his afternoon sleep so we took the opportunity of heading to south Arm and this recently published Geo Art series. This was the first cab off the rank.

Thanks for this cache in the X marks the spot Geo Art series Whitewebbs. We had no trouble locating the container and after signing the log we were soon on our way.
