Description
Paradise Peninsula - Sandford
This cache has been placed to celebrate a new Geocaching Australia type and is the first GeoArt placed in Tasmania.
It is called a GeoArt geocache. This new geocache type is a sub type of a traditional geocache where the phsycal geocache container is at the published co-ordinates. In adddition to the published co-ordinates an additional set of co-ordinates are required which will place a map marker in order to display your GeoArt.
The caches have been placed in the general area of "Paradise Peninsula" (as called by the locals) which starts at Lauderdale and ends at Opossum Bay. It is also the area we have called home for over 33 years. Here you can play BOWLS, golf, fish, go boating, surf, kayak, mountain bike plus many other activities and of course plenty of GEOCACHES to find.
I hope you enjoy the series.
Please bring your own pen. Parking available at GZ

then continued onwards to Sanford to find the rest of Whitewebbs MMMM games caches and a few others that were close by. Needing to be in New Town at 5 to pick up a heater we stopped in at Rosny Hill to grab the caches there to fill in some time, all were located and solved. After loading the heater onto my ute we decided that was enough caching for the day and headed back north arriving home around 10pm.
A quick and easy find on our way past TFTC
This cache was found easily.
I have fond memories of this spot well before there was an intersection here.
Found on an afternoons caching with EeePees.
Found on 29 May 2022 at 1513.

Yes, it is a little unusual for us to be geocaching down this way in the daylight, but we are.
Plenty of parking, nice and quiet, and another quick find, with the hint, and a semi exposed container.
Log has been quite wet and too flimsy to unfurl to sign.
So we didn't sign, but I have a pic of the cache if required.
Found with AlbyDangles, on a semi-impromptu caching afternoon.
Cheers, EPs.
It was really raining when we pulled up at GZ so we were very pleased about the placement of this one.
Guess a return visit to South Arm will be warranted soon so we can do what we planned to do down here. Hopefully next time we will be more prepared and have some of the mystery caches solved too.
Thanks for this and all the other Whitewebbs caches we have done over the last three days.
TFTC and the “X marks the spot” GeoArt series Whitewebbs!

This one was our first for the day and it's pretty close to where the GeoGSP goes for doggy vacation when I'm away, so he got a bit excited as we approached, but when I pulled over he realised what we were up to. Nice quick find.
A great series with a variety of hides that we enjoyed finding.
Many thanks whitewebbs for creating and maintaining this series, a must do when in the area.
I had to get out and help Geo Kid E this time - I found it straight away - He was upset
A quick, enjoyable find

Thanks for this cache Whitewebbs. We can see why the locals call this area Paradise Point and why you have called it home for 33 years. it is truly a beautiful spot with a great variety of scenery and activities. Thanks for taking us on a tour of your special space. Congratulations on publishing Tasmania's first GeoArt, a series of caches we can highly recommend. We hope it has many more visitors.
Thanks whitewebbs
