Description
Paradise Peninsula - South Arm
This cache has been placed to celebrate a new Geocaching Australia type and is the first GeoArt placed in Tasmania.
It is called a GeoArt geocache. This new geocache type is a sub type of a traditional geocache where the phsycal geocache container is at the published co-ordinates. In adddition to the published co-ordinates an additional set of co-ordinates are required which will place a map marker in order to display your GeoArt.
The caches have been placed in the general area of "Paradise Peninsula" (as called by the locals) which starts at Lauderdale and ends at Opossum Bay. It is also the area we have called home for over 33 years. Here you can play BOWLS, golf, fish, go boating, surf, kayak, mountain bike plus many other activities and of course plenty of GEOCACHES to find.
I hope you enjoy the series.
Please bring your own pen.
Plenty of parking at GZ, watch out for muggles.

And another quick find while in the area.
Out with EeePees doing a bit of caching for our BNO

TFTC"
Found on a nighttime geocaching adventure with AlbyDangles, in lieu of our usual boys night out for dinner.
Two caches here, so I looked for this one, while AD went after the CG one. A tell tale whitewebbs was soon in hand, signed, and relaced. Then I had to find the other one while AD was still searching in the dwizzle (but in fairness, I did readvthe hint).
Cheers, EPs.
Thanks.
Nice hide
TFTC and the “X marks the spot” GeoArt series Whitewebbs!

There was one car leaving as we approached, but the car park was otherwise empty. A nice quick find, followed by a walk along the beach - beautiful!
A great series with a variety of hides that we enjoyed finding.
Many thanks whitewebbs for creating and maintaining this series, a must do when in the area.
Took a little work to get to the cache container - knew it was there but couldnt remove without help
Returned today to try and finish this series
Enjoyed finding them all, even in todays heat
Sainted this one at 1537 hours
TFTC and cheers

Thanks for this cache Whitewebbs. We could hear the roar of the waves on the other side of the dunes. Would have liked to visit the beach here but time was starting to run out.
Thanks whitewebbs
I was pleased to find we were FTF
