The bad news is that this is a very tricky code to solve, made more difficult because the letters tend to run into each other.
But they each take up the same amount of space.
When you work out what this just use a piece of paper or ruler to mask each letter while you decipher it.
Or better still cut the correct size square out a piece of paper and place it over each letter in turn.
That should keep you busy for a while.
