Had a driver today which made it quicker and easier to get the caches in this series. All caches had a great pull off area so driver was happy. Great hints led to a fairly quick find for most of the caches. All caches in good condition even though we have had a spate of wet weather. TFTC and a well designed geoart .
Checked all caches in this Sail Boat Geoart while travelling to Lake MacKenzie with Trimbletas.
After starting in Ulverstone this morning, we made our way up to Lake Mackenzie to tackle this geoart series. Accurate coordinates for each cache. All in good condition. Signed and replaced. TFTC

The lucky last in the series for us having done them back to front.
It took a long time to get the zip lock bag out of this one and we didn't come prepared with any caching tools today. Think we returned it in a better way and it shouldn't be as hard for the next finder.
Wish we had thought to time how long it took us to do it all but once again we forgot to note the time we started. Didn't seem to take long though as they were fairly constant and all quick finds.
Now it was time to put the seat belts back on and head on down to the Kaast Forest for lunch.
Thanks DEZ055 for another great GeoArt series in a place we have visited many times but still enjoy.

Thank you DEZ055 for this Geoart Series. After commemorating Anzac Day at home I decided to attempt to do this series and a few other additional caches. The day was very good and not much traffic on the road. All 23 caches with the exception of one were quickly found. All were in good condition.

Today we needed a few GCA caches so, after a visit to the dentist we headed into the Mersey Forest and on to the Mole Creek NP. It was a beautiful sunny day but very cool in the wind.
We used the hint to locate the cache as the GPS wanted us on the other side of the road. No trouble finding the container.
Thanks for this cache Dezz055. Container and contents were in very good condition.

A Day out with Oldsaint finding some GCA caches for the new Blitz Event. The day was amazing, from snow to blue sky, from heavy showers to dry roads. One leach to report though!
Started the day at 6am, although Oldsaint had driven from Huonville by then. The drive north was interesting, and even though Symons Plains had a race day on, nobody was there at 8am
Proceeded directly to our main target, the Sail Boat Geoart, and completed about 9 before the heavy shower set in, so we decided we could drive to the last during the shower and work our way back. At the last we we greeted by a large amount of snow on the sides of the road, and throughout the tree. We occasionally got "snow balled" from trees above as we were caching. Great day out.
According to the rules of Blitz
Blitz is a dragonZone encounter where you find as many unique valid dragonZone geocaches as you can during a set period of time in an attempt to earn a reward.
Rewards are in the form of dragonZone points but are only awarded if the entire team of geocaches who are playing dragonZone combine to exceed the total number of finds required.
If the entire team of geocachers who are playing dragonZone reach or exceed the total number of finds required then at the end of the game you will receive a number of dZ points based on your percentage contribution of unique finds.
For example:
Make 1% of the total finds, receive 1% of the total rewards points.
Make 5% of the total finds, receive 5% of the total rewards points.
Make 10% of the total finds, receive 10% of the total rewards points.
dZPoints will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.
The more unique geocaches you find the more you are rewarded.
Geocaches you find during the game must have been hidden and published prior to the game announcement.

Hi dez
An early morning start had us head for this series which was our Main objective for the day
Found a few other caches on the way to this series
We were going to do them in order until we hit snow about half way up the road
The weather cracked about there, so it was up to the last hoping the rain may stop by the time we arrived there and then , Budge and I would work our way back down
This was Sainted at 0935 hours
A quick find was had on most of the caches
TFTC, TFTS and cheers

Out and about caching in the area with Tassie Trekkers collecting this well designed geoart series. It has been a long time since we have driven on this road. We appreciated the parking spots and very generous hints as we cached up the road. 6 out 6 geoart series now completed. TFTGA
