Finally this day has arrived. Both of us enjoy our toast, eggs on toast, cheese on toast, home made tomato relish on toast, smashed avocado on wholemeal, toasted sour dough, toasted rye, toasted multi grain; but Mr Y'stassie's favourite is thickly sliced hot buttered toast while Mrs Y'stassie loves honey, must be Tasmanian Leatherwood, on her toast.

Thanks for this event on Toast Day THEMD and a chance to share out toast topping favourites with others. Have a happy and safe Toast Day everyone.

A top idea to call a 'Day'. Toast is the best... any time of day. Favourite toppings are vegemite and marmalade, depending on whether I'm feeling like savoury or sweet, although there's an endless list of others. Toast today was with cheese and tomato. TFTE themd.

I do like a bit of toast with vegemite or honey or jam. However for the past 2 weeks we have been toasting hot cross buns. I cut frozen ones in half and jam them into the toaster. Served with lots of butter

Yay the day had arrived and Toast Day is here. I am not a great fan of toast but I do like fruit toast with butter. Thanks for hosting this event and next year I will remember to eat some toast on National Toast Day

I'm a weetbix kid, a weetbix kid, a weet---bix kid but occasionally have a slice of toast. Today had my weetbix and a slice of toasted wholemeal bread with butter & cocky's joy. Thanks for the invitation as had never heard of Toast Day.

Good morning themd and thanks for the Reach for the Toaster event.
Many apologies for my bungled earlier log, had my dates totally wrong.
However here we are, and my favourite is still Aldi’s Brioche Chocolate bread toasted, and buttered.
Although we are trialling a new bread baked in Shepparton using aloe Vera, it tastes the same as other white breads but two slices a day are supposed to cure arthritis, and since Muggle Hubby’s hands are being affected in this way, and it is causing him grief when he plays golf, we are trialling it.

Time to reach for the toaster to finally log this cache. My breakfast is usually porridge and coffee...lots of coffee! But sometimes a change is good. Thanks for this fun and unusual cache themd.

Finally its the 25th and its Toast Day!

I usually have toast for breakfast, but change it's topping around. I like jam, Vegemite, honey, and sometimes peanut butter & jam.

Today I decided on Plum Jam, and since its a special day, I put it on one of my bird plates!

I remembered to get up early and share my toast. My regular spread is Vegemite but this morning I found some Blackberry Jam in the fridge so a thick layer was added to my bare toast today. I hope everyone else enjoyed their toast this morning.

On the odd occasion I have peanut butter or honey but my all time favourite is vegemite (its even my #1 for fresh bread or rolls).
I even have vegemite toast with eggs on it, it's about the only way I'll eat scrambled, poached or fried eggs if I can get away with it. I never use to eat eggs and about 30+ years ago someone suggested having them on vegemite toast and that has been the go ever since.

I was very very early for this event, and totally got my dates mixed up.
My humble apologies for any confusion that may have caused.
I’ll try to remember to log it correctly tomorrow.
Time to put some Chocolate Brioche bread from Aldi into the toaster, spread it liberally with butter and it was yummy!
Then lick the melted chocolate off your fingertips.

My favourite spread on toast is:
mashed banana covered in grated cheese and warmed so that the cheese melts under the grill
tastier - add cooked bacon under the cheese prior to grilling
