The Cache is located very close to the orginal King Island Dairy cheese factory. The factory operated between 1902-1948. After this factory closed, the local kids used the building as an indoor cricket pitch and practised their footy kicks. The site has been sold a few times over the years to various owners. Namely Derek Hynd the surfer who then sold the property again. There is so much history to explore on King Island that makes you want to research what used to be. Enjoy admiring this great old building.
