Description

This cache is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Geocaching in Australia.

I wish I had known about this great game 10 years ago when it first began in Australia.

The location is in a small park with play equipment for the children and a picnic table for the family to enjoy. While there have a stroll along the path, even practise shooting a few goals in the basketball ring or enjoy the bird life - particularly the Ibis. A picturesque place with green lawns during the cooler months and plenty of shady trees in summer.

The cache is a plastic SPC fruit container with the usual trinkets in it. There will be a medal for the FTF.

Please make sure you replace the cache in the same manner it was found.

Logs

This geocache appears to be MIA so to stop it clogging the search lists we'll archive it. If the owner can confirm it is in place the listing can be resurrected by placing an "unarchived" log against it.

We are preparing for another trip to SA in late February and this cache keeps appearing in our lists. We have looked for it twice during previous visits but without success. The "recent" history suggests that the cache is no longer there. It is time to archive this one and its twin OR (which would be better) replace the caches.

Could the owner of this hide please confirm that the cache is still in place?

we searched for a long time but did not find it Sad

not sure if it's still there as we thought we had found the hiding place.

Well; I have found it before (my first find ever) Very Happy, I had checked when others couldn't see it Anxious so I knew it was missing Sad . Being the closest GCA to home Cool , I thought I should keep it going, so I have put a replacement 1 L container back in place where I originally found it. There's a few trinkets to swap.

We found the twins! ...but not this cache.

As we were searching some kids in the nearby park called out "Are you doing geocaching?" They turned out to be the Kettle twins plus a muggle mate. We all had a good look around GZ but came up empty handed.

When in doubt, widen your search! Another GCA cache off the list in a lovely park. Old ladies are my nemesis today, got busted by one on a GC cache nearby and busted again here returning the cache! Aargh!

Found a neat car in the place where the cache wasn't.

Quick find after dark, when the park was empty and quiet. Just had to deal with some slippery mud, then the cache was mine!

TNLN - Thanks Gemini7!

Was nearby, so stopped for a look. The creek bank is like quicksand when wet, so avoid it if possible. And another silver. TFTC. TNLN.
