Description
This is one of 10 geocaches placed in this area in honour of the 10th anniversary of the first geocache to be placed in Australia.
The GCAX series was published 18 May 2010 in honour of the first geocache to be placed in Australia, Lane Cove. The series is made up of 9 traditional caches and one puzzle. The puzzle is neither clever nor difficult; it's main purpose in life is to get you out and walking around the area - which is one of the things we all love about geocaching anyway. Each traditional cache has a letter and corresponding number inside the lid. As the cache descriptions do no t say which letter can be found in which cache, you won't know if you need to visit all or just some of the caches in the series to find the puzzle cache. But hey - you wanted to do all of them anyway, didn't you? ;-) The caches are all easily accessible and within Knocklofty Reserve.
GCAX03: Trail Junctions is placed near some trail juntions. Knocklofty Reserve has LOTS of track, and therefore LOTS of trail junctions, however I've placed a cache near this one as it's a bit of a hub to access some of my favourite tracks on Knocklofty.

Cheers,

This was found just as a dog and it’s walker came around the corner. Lots of great views on the way up here.
Is there going to be a set of caches to celebrate the original cache after 20 years, or a set to celebrate the celebration caches lasting 10 years?
thanks for the cache
Now I must come back to do more of this series. THANKS.
TNLNSL noted clue. Thanks Snuva.
TNLN. Thanks Snuva
Quick and easy find. Last person didn't cover it back up so good, so made sure it was well and truly covered when we left
I was stuck behind a very slow dog walker on the way to GZ, then the dog had a big sniff around what turned out to be the hiding spot. Finally, they move on and I can stop lurking nearby. Found after a short search. Thanks!
These still winter days are just made for geocaching, and this was an area of the track I had not previously visited.
Thanks for the cache, Snuva !
Surprised to be FTF.
TNLN
Thanks!
