Description

Nice area to walk through. Could be up to a 3.5 K walk or bike ride depending where you park.

This is my first ever Geo Art. There are 23 placements in this series.  Hides number 13  to number 23,  you have a couple of options in relation to parking. You can park in the car park at the end of Woongarra Scenic drive. or park in the car park at the North end of Logan Road.  You will be walking on mown ground and grass tracks for the majority of this section. You will have a very short walk on the concrete path. The 23 took me 2.5 hours to place.

Most of the hides are around the 100 meters apart and are all small green Pre form Tubes.   Head High.

#5636 - 17:55; Day sixteen of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. Reached Bundaberg last night and today the plan was to finish off the T.A.F. series we started yesterday, complete some local adventure labs, visit the Bundaberg Distillery, then on with some more caching. Ended the day in Bagara and after completing one of the local adventure labs headed off for the bonus which brought us close to this series. Decided to see how many we could find before it got too dark. Gave up the hunt for this one after an initial search and headed to #16 for a quick find. Decided to backtrack and try again and with the benefit of the find at #16, made the find here as well. Nice to collect another in the series. TFTC youngoldfella Very HappyClan Cerberus

Day 16 of the road trip to Townsville with LuckyL10n for the Mega and return.

After grabbing one of the others we stopped off in this park, in the dark, to try for a few more. Managed to find 4 before giving it away for the day.

Thanks for the series YOF, hope I can complete it one day.

First up apologies for the copy and paste logs. TG47 and I were out early this morning as we had a lot to get through today. As well as all your GeoArt there were quite a few others that we wanted as we are both looking for some more hits in the Battleships Game. Of the 23 GeoArt there were 4 FTFs which was extremely pleasing as initially I thought that we were going to grab them but then I didn't expect to get any after seeing geono had beaten us to quite a few. I was signing my last log (a GC) just on dark so we are both extremely happy with the day. Huge congratulations to you YOF for all the work that you have put in to this area in a relatively short time. So sorry we missed you today. We were half expecting the cache to be missing when we saw a round thing with bits of hose hanging in the tree. Very pleased to see the distinctive shape of a cache there as well. {FTF} TFTC youngoldfella.
