Description
A quick and easy multi by Team Ladava
Hamilton Hume (1797-1872) was born in Parramatta, New South Wales on 18 June 1797 and was the first Australian born explorer making many small journeys from the age of a teenager before joining with William Hovell, an English sea captain who was an exceptional navigator but had little bush skills. Hume had explored many areas around Sydney travelling as far south as the plains around Yass. He was an expert bushman who understood some Aboriginal languages. In 1824 they set out from Appin about 45km from Sydney and were bound for Western Port, the port in Bass Strait that George Bass discovered in 1798. The objective of the expedition was to find out what kind of landscape lay to the south of the Murrumbidgee River.

Logs
When the cache is ready to be activated again the owner can place a 'published' log and it will go live
Thanks anyway Team Ladava.
One of the most nicely crafted containers I've seen so far. TVMFTC.
I apologise to all the CO’s for using a generic log but after the 130+ caches for the day for me I’m too exhausted to even think of writing an individual log for each. Thanks to each and every one of you.
I must admit that I hadn't looked at who had hidden this cache until after I got back to the car but as I approached I thought "hmmmmmmmmm... that looks like....." and I was right . It sure looked like a Team Ladava hide to me.
Cheers, thanks for the fun Team Ladava.
After finish 99 of hte power trail we were heading to the final and dropped in to pick this up. Lot of effort has gone into this hide!

Having spent the day successfully completing the GC Woodlands 100 Series it was poignant to pause for this cache. Almost 200 years ago these explorers reported on the rich grazing area which we enjoy today as Woodland Historical Park.
While we were doing the calculations a very large aircraft passed overhead and we were amazed at the backwash of wind after it had passed.
TNLN . . SL . . Thank s for the hunt and another excellent cache Team Ladava.

At GZ I calculated the co-ordinates using the information provided.
A short walk to GZ had me initally looking in the wrong locale.
I readjusted and was soon signing the log.

Thanks for the straight forward multi.
I thought I was going to have problems as a 4WD was parked up the grass... but nothing stirred!
Lots of cockroaches and creapy things in the hide.
Thanks Team Ladava for the hide!

Found this one on the way back home after an afternoon in sunbury. All I can say is LOVE the hide, so well made great chemo. Second signature in a new log and location.
Thanks again to Team Ladava for the wonderful cache. TNLN, but was stamped by my geo brother with the "Train"
Enjoy.

Team Ladava
Lots of barriers in the way.
May need checking at this point in time.
Found 1.15pm
Thanks for interesting history about the people who explored this area.
19th of 21 GCA/GC.com cache finds today! Great spot for a cache, thanks!

An easy set of clues to collect, just the way I live them. Informative without being onerous.
A quick drive down the road to GZ and the cache was revealed along with a thorn in my hand and a gash down my arm. No major damage, just a result of a bit of slippage as I approached.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks Team Ladava for this cache. As usual the cache was of extremely high quality and is well worthy of being found. Sorry for the delay from the actual anniversary, I don't get up to this side of the airport much, but today was the perfect day to come and find it.

GAFF 1
After spending a little time looking elsewhere, and rechecking coords, I braved a quick walk under - didn't see it. Out again, grr. Under again... different angle so saw it and realised how close I had been the first try I had made.
Looks like my geosenses are starting to develop, but I need longer arms.
Came home and read the hint and wished I had read it BEFORE I left!!
Parked up nearby to watch the aeroplanes taking off while having lunch, it was then down to this one to learn some great history about the people who explored this area. Grabbed the numbers and then it was off to hunt at GZ. We realised that we would not be looking for a Team Ladava special so had to rethink things a bit. Taking a bit of a leap of faith I stuck my arm into the unknown and ...... found a cache (phew).
TNLNSL
Thanks Ian and Sandra for the history and the cache.
Especially this one.

The Riddeller.
I wasn't game to try this one in the dark last night, so decided to leave it for someone else. But as I was about to head off for work this morning, I thought "what the heck - just one more!". Some great history here, at both WP1 and GZ, two places that I've never stopped at previously. I really enjoyed this one, very "traditional" in style for you, Team Ladava! TNLN. Cheers.
