Description
Have your photo taken sitting on the seat at the base of the water tower between the kangaroo and the Willy wagtail.
It is such a delightful area to explore. See if you can also find the possum, the kookaburra, the rosella, galahs, and echidna. A wonderful tank mural to take the Geokids or Geograndkids to enjoy with you.
Logs
Another trip from home to Wagga for a two hour BusNSW meeting and a small number of caches along the way. The highlight was finally having a chance to venture a long way off normal roads for a rarely found GC cache (in fact, only 11 finders since 2005).
It was bucketing down rain last time I passed through "verandah town" so today it was good to have a bit of late sunshine and a couple of minutes for a quick stop and snap.
My thanks to CybergranV for this cache and for helping grow Geocaching Australia.

#GA5718 - 13:00; Day 1 of the Rutherglen Mega mission and stopped off in Lockhart on my way south for a few caches. Stopped by the watertank and grabbed a snap while I was there. TFTC Cybergran V
Quite busy when O arrived. Decided for the shot from the car.

We were out and about caching south of Wagga Wagga today and managed to grab the photo required to log this virtual cache, TFTV
Today's mission is to head out to Lockhart and find the new AL and a couple of other caches that have popped up since last time I was there. I got a FTF on the bonus. After this, I drove along the back roads to find couple of cache along the road to The Rock. Once in the Rock, I spent lunch with 'baby&Mrs gopher' and had a bit of a catch up. It was great fun. Now time to head home and get ready for Taekwondo tonight. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO's of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTC's

A very wet day but got the photo. We did a driving tour of the town which was very surprisingly much bigger than we imagined.
This virtual is designed to bring you into this delightful town to explore. Not only is the tank mural splendid, all around the base of it are sculptures made from scrap, a cute dog, a life size horse, a very clever cockatoo and and a couple of emus with their chicks.
Then go and find the caches hidden here which will take you to the full size cart and horses, the woolbale gates at the Showgrounds, and the corrugated iron sheep, sheepdog and drover, amongst others.
