Description
A moveable cache to commemorate our aussie diggers
Thanks to many honourable men and women, who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom, I may play my fantastic game of geocaching. Personally, I don't think the chance of Hitler, or Stalin, or Ho Chi Minh flipping the big blue switch is low. Even though this link is very minute, I would still like to thank all the diggers out there. Please move this cache on to another place of significance.

Moved to Richmond Club on the way out further. Good luck on the next trip
Decided to come to Rookwood to visit and while I was here to pick up as many of the moveables that were there in the usual hides. I didn't bring my GPSr with me to make it more interesting. So out of the 6 hidden here I managed to locate 5 of them. I had a few that I almost missed as none of them were very large so some of them were harder to spot. Will move it on soon. Thanks for the moveable aussie O's

I recon you will enjoy this area – so many tracks to choose from – a short distance from a track.

Once again this cache has eluded us. Looks like Mr Bullfrog might have moved it on, hopefully.
This one has been out and about for more than seven years now and only has a grand total of 9 dragonZone points allocated to it!

Was having lunch very near here today so called past for a hunt for this moveable.
Had quite a thorough look around the area of GZ but to no avail, the sunrises have evaded me, both have them.
Hopefully the last finder has taken it for a holiday with them!
Next attempt perhaps

was checking a spot that i had previously left a gca and low and behold this one was there. i think it didn't show on my map because it is still archived. if owner can renable ill get it moving again.
I found this one still in my possession after quite a while. I've put it back out threee, so hopefully the owner can unarchive it.
This cache looks like it's MIA so to stop it turning up in the search lists we'll archive it. If the owner can confirm it's in place they can reactive the listing by placing an unarchived log against the cache.
It's been thirteen months and counting since being removed from the current coordinates. I have a feeling that this cache is not going to make a comeback.
Gee I really should have checked the past logs before looking for this one. Surely it doesn't take seven months to re-hide a moveable cache.
Left this enigmatic cache at the base of a pole.
Found this one again. Still don't get it. Plastic screw-top container? Oh well, I'll move it along. Perhaps someone else will make sense of it!

Back out near a place of importance
Found the Cenotaph trig and then this moveable. Will find somewhere appropriate to leave it in the north of the state
Moved near to the Hobart cenotaph. Thanks for the cache.
Reading the logs makes me think there may be another part to this cache. I found a small white screw top container. In it, a couple of swaps and a damp log sheet from which I got the number.
If there is another part, I've left it in Hobart; either that or I've mixed the numbers up. The log was quite wet and tricky to read.
Anyway, it's back out regardless!

Took a couple of days to register the move
Collected but the GPS had us searching the wrong big tree. Has been moved a short distance on.
This cache has flown to the Queen's Domain and is hidden a little way up the hill from Carriage Drive.
It flew into Haunting , sat at the table for a meal and tehn flew off again. Thanks for visiting.
Attended the event "Haunting Lives" tonight at the Carlyle Hotel organised by red tag. What a great night we had.
Part way through the evening, many moveables were placed on the table and many logs were made. This was just one I made as the circuit of the table progressed.

I was convinced at the beginning of the event "Haunting Lives" to take this moving cache with me to place elsewhere.
Re hidden at another war memorial. chest high in a tree
I had to wait for the fat conductor to maneuver Thomas and the other trains back and forth on the switching tracks before I could get close enough to retrieve this cache but it was eventually in my hand. Thanks for the cache
In the nearby vicinity of Hobart's Cenotaph.
Had a bag of leap frogs and movable dropped off to my office as I missed collecting these at the recent event.
Interesting movable

Circumstances required that I made a drop of this and four other caches at the above co-ords.
Enjoyed each of these five caches.

Hi Aussie Os
Fight of the Double Sunrise was collected at a tremendous event, "Christmas in July", here in Tasmania on Mount Wellington.
Flight has seen snow, has now been to Huonville and will travel with me to Hobart to be set free to continue travels throughout Tasmania.
TFTC and cheers;

Flight Of The Double Sunrise has been riding in the 2y'stassies geomobile back to Tassie. It came along with many others to the Christmas in July event on Mount Wellington in Hobart to launch it's Tasmanian travels.
Last night, whilst staying in Balranald, we noticed that there were three moveable caches at Wagga Wagga which had been static for about 15 weeks. So we decided that we look for them when we arrived this afternoon. We found the three caches but, to our surprise, there was a fouth which we hadn't expected. So "Flight Of The Double Sunrise" is now with us. We will place Croak out again but we want to put him in a location where there is some activity with moveables. It we cannot find a suitable location during our current trip, "Flight Of The Double Sunrise" and his companions may be released in Tasmania when we get back in late July. TFTC.
Dropped off near the Kapooka Tragedy memorial with some Frogs.
Found with Black Bunny & Candy Cane 101. We will find a spot for him soon.

We came out after work to get this one and will move it on quickly, hopefully to somewhere of significance or at least to a friend who will appreciate the sentiment behind this cache ( as we do too). Thanks Aussie-Os.
Plonk! Into a significant Commonwealth Heritage listed location that is managed by the Department of Defence.
Not what I was expecting but then that's geocaching for you A nice dry cache in a quiet location near the war memorial, most appropriate. TFTC

A fairly appropriate location, in Remembrance Park behind the War Memorial. A doubly appropriate drop as I left it here just as the sun was rising over the hills.
Sorry it took me a while to get this cache moving again.
Cheers

found in the back of Albida's car en route to a cache today, signed and left it with him to move on.
I saw this GA moveable on my GPS as I drove past and could not ignore it. It is now in Canberra and should be out soon.

After some thought on where to place this cache baby&Mrs came up with the position of a very poignant location that has so much meaning. On the piece of engineering work is a brass plaque that acknowledge's those that made the site available. It is only 1.5 km from the guard post into 1RTB.The cache is just below the plaque and is covered with mulch to help conceal the container, the rating would be 1x1 but there are logs to cross over.
This is a memorial to 26 Army Engineers who lost their lives in an accident while in training on the 21st May 1945.It was the Australian Army's worst accident,a tradgedy so grim and gruesome it tore open the heart of a country town.
During the passage of time something strange happened.
"Australia forgot"
There is now a memorial to these brave men and if you find time go for a drive to Kooringal road war cemetry and have a look in the Armed services section at the southern end.You will be humbled.

Just a stop here in The Rock to get my bearings before I make my commitment to Kapooka 1RTB
Given this cache by Team Ladava to take into NSW and maybe to stay and look at 1RTB Recruit Training wall. This is a very special place as most of us have had time here in one way or another.
