Description
This cache is located adjacent to the "Rose Creek Estate" winery, arguably the closest active winery to Melbourne's CBD.
Rose Creek Estate Winery
This hidden winery, unknown to most Melbourne residents (even the locals!), has been described as "Tuscany in East Keilor". This family-owned winery is run by Tony and Lina Siciliano. Covering an area of around 1.2ha, it features 3,000 grapevines, around 300 olive trees, and an incredible range of fruit and vegetables all growing in the middle of suburban Melbourne. Rose Creek Estate now produces 10,000 litres of chardonnay, shiraz, shiraz/cabernet/merlot and zibibbo - a southern Italian-style made from muscat grapes. The wines and olive oils have won numerous medals at several regional shows and exhibitions. You can read more about Rose Creek at their website, and in this recent article in The Age newspaper.
The cache
The cache is a square Sistema container, camouflage painted. For those who found the multi that I had hidden here, you will be familiar with the location at GZ. However, due to two mugglings of the old cache, this one is in a different final location. See the hint if you have trouble locating it!
Congratulations to wallyhunt for the FTF, and claiming the shiny-new FTF pathtag attached to a FTF trophy!

Dropped TravelBug Lanzarote Gecko.TB2HXRW
This Travelbug LanzaroteGeckoTB2HXRW was dropped at a
Geocache Australia cache not a Geocache.com cache.
If a local geocacher can find and move the Lanzarote Gecko Travelbug
to a cache associated with this Geocache.com site, then the Gecko
can continue on it's way! help me out here guys!
Bowdiebot from NZ.
The massive amount of rain over the past couple of days has turned the creek into a raging torrent, and things are more than a tad damp underfoot. The contents of this last cache for the day were nice and dry, which is more than I could say for myself. It was worth it, though... it's beautiful here, even with the construction happening at the top of the hill above.
What a great park and walking track. Love the stream along it!
Had to negotiate getting over it, but it was fun to say the least!
We were down in Keilor on a shopping mission and this was the nearest so why not.
I know, I should have known better than to blindly trust the navigator to take me to the right side of the creek. As soon as I saw the location I knew it was wrong as I had found the earlier version. Oh well, after circumnavigating the area in defiance of the instructions from that darn device we came to a familiar location and strolled along the creek for the find (Very appreciative of the hint among all those thistles thriving in the wet spring weather)
Indeed a resemblance to the Tuscany we see in the books and on the screen.
Took nothing

Our thanks to pwags for the cache and bringing us back to this very pleasant location. (Well I say us but apparently I did the earlier cache solo)
Cheers

Find number 8 out of 11 today. I have done the hill! I wasn't going to do it again! The walk along the creek was great, a little muddy at times but better than that damn hill! Thanks pwags, good to come back here again.

Once I re-entered the correct co-ords, escaped the scrub and wandered down further it was a nice easy find.

The Riddeller.
Having found the previous cache I knew to ignore where TomTom was trying to take us and we chose a parking spot close to the bridge. Nice walk round to GZ were we found the cache in the second place we looked.

Thanks pwags
The second last of the 10th anniversary caches today. I think that makes our haul 7 so far.
Having visited this area for the previous incarnation of the cache, we knew where to park and it was an easy stroll along the creek to the cache.
A few minutes searching at GZ and we had the cache container.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks pwags for this 10th anniversary cache.
