Description
Created for the Battleships Game
Game Period: 01-Jun-2021 00:00:00 to 31-Jul-2021 23:59:59 AEST
Play Battleships. Sink the enemy ships before they sink you!
On your entry to the game you will be asked to create a playing area with a number of sea tiles. Your playing field is a grid 20 x 20 sea tiles making a total number of 400 possible areas you can target in your game of Battleships. A playing field is unique to each player so there is no benefit in teaming up to beat the system through brute force.
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a sea tile and see whether you have make a hit. There are a number of different sea tiles that will be revealed when you take a shot at your playing area . It should be noted that there are no punishments for clicking a tile but there will not always be the reward you were hoping for as you reveal each tile.
You only receive points for a hit on a ship. Alas, shots that miss a target offer no reward
A writing stick would be handy
Please replace as found for the longevity of the cache
Please enjoy the series

Logs
Found the log plastic bag and container separately but no lid on the ground on ground.
After signing the log I had a look around and found the lid.
I jammed the container in place where it should be.
Found after a working that didn't happen

Many thanks OldSaint for creating this Geoart series and adding to our geocaching experience today.
No log trucks today, a pleasant drive on a mild winters day with a dusting of snow on the Hartz.
Thanks for another good cache in this series OldSaint.
Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of exc hides and a lot of different cache types.
Wasn't too sure what to expect here but thought another pesky hanger
Gave one spot a good work out then moved to another where the sneaky hide was found...another top hide with cache in good nick.
I left home at 0435 and drove 840km to finally get home at 2005...a full 15.5hrs.
Many thanks for placing this excellent series of caches...thoroughly enjoyed....cheers ST.
Was out and about today collecting a few GCA caches while the weather was ok. Some blue sky was about - but not much. Didnt get rained on, so an advantage there.
Part of a series of clever, different and well organized caches including some great parking spots.
Nice hiding spot, but found it fairly quickly

As we enjoyed pizza I talked goose into the fact that we could 'nip' down to Judbury if we used the back road and finish the day doing Hearts in the Hartz series along with a few other caches on the way.
After the easy battleships we were not loving these hearts at all with some of the hides being right stinkers and more than once I expressed my feeling on the matter "I say Goose I do believe that Old Saint may have out done himself this time, as pleasant as it is to stand in inches of water with twigs in my ear I do feel that I may have to have polite chat with old saint about this very matter"
This is clearly not what I said at all but is the GCA approved translation of what I actually said 2 or 3 times.
I had a great time today so would like to thank OS and Budge for putting these GeoArt out for me to find.
We spent a fair bit if time looking at one gum until Andy asked if there was any more gums, I pointed at one and he went over to it and found the cache.
Thanks for the Hearts in the Hartz series OldSaint.
