Description

A cache located outside the Warrambui Conference Centre

Warrambui is a unique retreat and conference centre just 30 minutes north of the National Capital. It is situated on a 120 hectare site with beautiful tranquil views, gum and pine forests and peaceful walking trails. Our distinctive circular building, the Dome, naturally draws people together while the brand new Village Conference Centre offers greater flexibility and the comfort of ensuited accommodation.

The Cache is located just outside the entrance of this centre, in a nice forested area. It shouldnt be hard to find for the average cacher. Good luck and enjoy the area

Happy caching

First to find honors to Blackbunny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FINALLY got around to finding this one! I wasn't here when Black Bunny found it many moons ago, so it sort of slipped off the radar, - until now.

Thanks, Jeff! Great to finally find this one! Sadly, the container was broken and the contents were completely sodden. We took a chance and replaced the container with a new one, and added a new log, plastic bag, and swaps. Clan Cerberus

We were passing through this area this morning and stopped to look for this cache. After surveying the area around gz cachers instinct told us where to start the search. It wasn't long before we located the box. Thr container and contents were in good condition.

We were pleased to be able to find a cache that is about to celebrate its ten year in the game with its original log book and container.

Thanks for the cache Mro_Roo. We would not have known about this complex had it not been for your cache and the information on the cache page.

After doing a car swap in Canberra, I thought I would head the long way home and collect a few more GC's for the long weekend. Once GC's had been found I headed out for this one. Certainly has been a while since found as I had to dig a bit to retrieve it. Cache is still in good condition considering. TFTC mr_roo.

I was told about this one by another Cacher. I never knew there was a cache just outside of my work (It might just be because I didn't have a GCA account, I only had a international account). Well after work today, I went and got this one. When I got home, I made a GCA account and now I'm logging my find. Tftc

I've always liked this area with the bush and the nearby hills. Haven't been into the centre though (LiamL has).

A quick find with the sounds of kids in the background.

Thanks

#GA432 - 16:55; After a successful run around in Sydney yesterday, I had a few chores to take care of today before I could head out to grab a couple of caches today. This was on a back road not too far from home and had a bit more traffic than I'd expected after seeing this cache hasn't been logged for more than three years, although I thought I'd spotted a 2013 entry in the log book Think Parked the geomobile across the road from GZ and made a quick find. The cache is in good order, log book dry and safely sealed in its ziplock bag. TFTC mr_roo DancingClan Cerberus

On a caching run to Yass. Managed to forget to download this onto the Oregon, but the car GPS got me close enough to work out where it was. A new road for me. Thanks.

Nice easy one, had to stealth some passing motorists made easy by location, use this to your advantage to save the cache from muggles! TFTC.

We started to encounter traffic on the way here, and wondered if some other cachers were active this morning. We arrived at a chilly *FTF* to SL and retire to the vehicle.

A quick find to help celebrate 10 years of caching in Australia.
