We've been planning to do this series for some time now and finally got ourselves organised for a day out.
Bit of a changeable day between cold/cloudy and cold/sunny but hey no rain so that's a win.
Apologies for all the copy/paste logs but the general feedback was "A quick easy find in good condition"

This series was our target today as we make our way towards Orford. We found all but one of the caches and really enjoyed the peaceful countryside that we travelled through, neither of us had ever travelled this road before. The first couple of caches were found out in the open and rehidden according to the hints. Sorry for the copy and paste logs but we did really enjoy caching in the bush, thanks for the caches and the series

Was a mild winter’s morning to allow for an early start out of Huonville with Newy07, a muggle, and the muggle’s dog, to do the lovely drive from Conara to Cranbrook. Our main mission was to find all the Ready Aim Fire GeoArt series to boost our firing shots for the Battleships game. After re-hiding half a dozen moveables in the Conara Reserve, this was our 36th find for the day. Found at 1340 hrs while chasing the tail of a dear Sainted friend.

Hi sirius
Today I targeted Black Beards' Series - Ready Aim Fire
Of the total series, I was unable to find 3 but I managed to find 35; the remainder will have to wai till the next trip
I found the caches in great places and with excellent co-ordinates they were easy enough to find
The day started with rain here in Huonville but it cleared as I neared the middle of Tassie
Unfortunately, it did not stay that way throughout the searching period - drizzled later in the day for a short period of time
But it was heavier rain that terminated further searching
Saw a few wombats throughout the day, but no other wild life except for one large black cocky as it flew low over my car
In looking for these caches, I expended 1592 calories while using 8101 steps to cover a distance of 6.57km on foot
My overall driving experience covered a round trip of 517km
There was very little other traffic on the road
This cache was Sainted at 1449 hours
This cache was really enjoyable
Thanks for your series; I've really enjoyed the caches completed thus far

Hi Sirius,

today i returned with Trimbletas to complete the ready aim fire series from Avoca down to Cranbrook.
Along the way we enjoyed the different scenery with all the finds being fairly straight forward.
all though a few bison tube were incorrectly rolled prevent easy access.
We left at 8am this morning and back at 6pm with over 50 caches found for the day. TFTC

We embarked on our inland voyage today. Taking us along the path to collect the loot as we traveled through perilous dangers and uncharted land and water. Sequentially making ourselves south as we started from the North. We had an enjoyable experience completing this series. Obvious hides were spotted through the windscreen of the chariot as well as both jumping out to hunt different spots to come up with the goods. All in all all caches were completed and in good order. Though some pirates need a lesson in Bison Tube log rolling!! Other than that, thank you captain Sirius for an enjoyable series. TFTCS

We couldn't quite work out which rock was which so decided to follow our GPS which pointed us straight to the hide. The container was wet and a little muddy on the outside but the contents were safe and dry.

Thanks for another cache in this series Sirius Tas. This section of road is in very good condition and the edges are not muddy.

out and about with Lil Rafa caching in Launceston for the weekend to get shots for the battleship GCA game and this was on the list to FIND. TFTC TNLN log dry.

Spent the long weekend in Launceston with RLD4963, and we decided to return home to Hobart via the scenic route - via Royal George Rd, and then back to Campbelltown via Lake Leake Road!
This is the sort of thing a GCA game does - makes you make giant detours to find geocaches.
We found all but one of the caches - number 30 (noting that #7 has been disabled).
We really enjoyed the drive, weather held up nicely, and not a lot of traffic.
Thank you for all your work in putting this series together for us to enjoy.

Mr Beetle pinpointed this one from the ute and yelled instructions for me to get there!! Sure I would have got there by myself but I suppose he thought he was helping!!!
The road is much better here with not as many potholes but I'm glad we didn't wash it before this trip.
Will certainly need it when we get home though.

Well I had plans for the weekend until this series came out and this changed all that, I talked to the Goose about doing this series on Saturday and then offered up 2 spare seats on the Tassie geocaching FB page, by Friday night we had one seat filled and two other cars travelling with us.
I left home at 7:15 we meet up with WhiteWebbs and Budgietas at the Mood Food event near Kempton at 8:15, then we drove to meet Tassie Trekkers at the Lake Leake turn off before heading East to the last cache of this great series number 44 was to be our 1st cache of the series at 10:13.
After making our way North and then West we found all the series without issue bar one where we had to search for sometime before adding our names to the logbook, we found the first one of the series and last for us at 13:40.
My estimate for this day out was 10 hours and due to good coords and hints we saved a lot of time so after splitting up with the other teams we made our way South to drop Budgietas back at his car grabbing a few other caches down side roads along the way, I arrived back home at 6:00.

Todays caching day was made all the better thanks to Sirius and my fellow cachers who mad it more than just a simple caching trip, thanks again.

Today we joined stainless-steel-rat, gooseandegg, Budgietas and whitewebbs for a caching trip along the Old Coach Road. We met the Southerners at Campbell Town and joined the convoy.

The day was overcast and cold but we managed to avoid the rain. We appreciate the time and effort gone into placing this series also the accurate co ordinates and detailed hints.

An excellent series of geo art and a great day out with great company. Signed the log "Convoy"

The call was put out, but we didn’t have a whole lot of takers to join the Ready, Aim, Fire convoy. A small but hearty bunch of landlubbers consisting of stainless steel rat, Budgietas, whitewebbs, Tassie Trekkers and a special guest made the journey to this pirate ridden area for a bit of treasure hunting.
The rat collected me from my living quarters at 0730 and we met up with Budgie and whitewebbs at Mood Food where we had to settle for coffee as no rum was on offer!
We met Tassie Trekkers and special guest in Campbell Town and the convoy headed out to the East Coast via the Lake Leake Highway to start at #44 and work our way backward to finish in Avoca, giving us the better road to drive home on.
We finished a lot quicker than we thought and split up to do our own thing.
I’d only been to Royal George once before and the road was better than I remembered. It was an enjoyable drive and a great day out caching with good friends.

Today we joined the convoy that left Kempton at 8.30 am and headed north to check out this cool new geoart. It was a fun day with the great company of stainless-steel-rat, gooseandegg, Budgietas and TassieTrekkers. The weather was kind as the drizzle held off until on the way home but gee it was windy and cold. We enjoyed the hides and their placement and all were found with the aid of the detailed hints. Thanks sirius Tas for all the effort you have put into creating the geoart. We left home at 7.15 am, Kempton at 8.30 am, Campbell Town at 9.20 am (after collecting the northerners, including a muggle 90 year old) and starting the fun at 10.10 am. We finished around 1.40 pm which included a stop for lunch. After the first log on No. 44, all logs were signed as "convoy". We highly recommend this series and thanks for showing us a road we have not travelled on previously. TFTGA

A day out with Goose / Stainless Steel Rat / Whitewebbs & Tassie Trekkers (in the order I spotted them on the day). The target was the Ready Aim Fire series. Started with a quick event at Mood Food, followed by a drive to Campbell Town where Tassie Trekkers were met. Started at 44 and moved back along the road towards 1. All 44 were found on the drive. This road I have travelled many times before, including a stop at where I went in my youth for many swims while holidaying in Swansea. A swim in fresh water was always nice on a hot day, and better than the sea! I remember seeing a platypus swimming by one day - so it is a special spot!

Royal George is not a large place, but it was packed today, I am sure there where about 15 - 20 people spotted as we drove through. SSR avoided a dog during the drive through.

All caches were signed as "Convoy" to save space in the log.

TFTC and the series

Now I have a good rhythm going and making quick finds. Thank you sirius Tas for this excellent series which is making an enjoyable morning's activity for me.
