This cache is one of a small series of regular sized caches that has been placed along the Barton Highway. They will initially provide more caches for people who want to participate in the 2021 game of Battleships and then provide more of this sized cache to all as they travel this main road between the ACT and Yass. They are best attempted while travelling towards Canberra.

A quick torchlit find, cache in excellent condition despite the locals having a nibble on the container. Thanks for the cache TG47

With a weekend free and two geo-events over Canberra way, I went for the drive which turned into a caching Saturday and a friend’s meetup Sunday. I left home at 6am Saturday morning so I could arrive at the first event on time. Turns out that, apart from the CO, I was the first to arrive. After wishing Dark_Blu happy B’day, it was time for caching. Due to the rain I didn’t find too many caches during the day. However, when it was time for the CITO, the rain held off so we could clean up the walking trails around the forest plus find a couple of caches nearby. A very late night for all of us and thankfully we got an extra hour of sleep as it was the end of Daylight Savings. Waking up Sunday morning it was time to meet up with my Non-Geocaching friends at Tuggy Church & afternoon tea and do a little bit of shopping because why not. Then it was time to head home which ended up being quite late. But some good news about leaving so late, I got a FTF on an unpublished cache, out long the Barton Hwy @ 6:18pm. I will log it when it becomes published. TB visit. I would like to thank all the CO’s of the caches/events I found and for allowing them to me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTC’s and TFTE’s!
This one has been on my to-find-list for quite sometime, so today on my way home from Canberra, I made a quick find. TFTC

Stopped of on the way home from a caching run with LuckyL10n to make the find here. No issues and the log was soon signed.
Thanks TG....cool to grab another shot for the game.

#GA5310 - 11:40; I though it might be a good idea to start firing on all cylinders for the current game and today being a nice day, headed out to collect a few of the newer local caches on my way to the shops. Three from three located and logged, with all in good condition. TFTC TG47

I grabbed this one on my way back into town today. A quick find but surprisingly a little water in the bottom of the container but the zip bag had kept the log very dry and I stamped it and returned everything as I found it. A good find during the Battleships Game of 2021. TFTC TG47 TNLN

After working at home all day, we snuck out for a couple of caches before it got too cold.
Good sized cache on a side road, with space to park. Sadly, no swaps here. A good sized container, but it has had food in it - a big no-no around here, as wild animals have acute senses of smell and might be attracted to cache containers, which contain bad things for the wildlife. It's REALLY hard to clean food containers well enough to remove all smell.
Thanks for the cache, TG47!

Out with Just a cacher for a quick caching expedition and we decided to grab this cache while we were near.
A quick park and grab to sign the log here tonight.

We had discussed where we should cache while we waited to make a dash across Victoria to the ferry. Given the GA Battleship game is under way and there are plenty of GCA caches in the ACT where else could we go.
It was raining steadily as we left Murrumbateman so it was decided to target Ad Labs as we entered the ACT and look for any GA caches we might be passing.
We were glad to find that this cache was not on the highway and that there was plenty of space to park off the road. While one of the team checked out one likely hide the other followed her GPS towards another. As she reached her target she spotted a possible container. On closer inspection we found it was the cache.
Thanks for this cache TG47. The container and contents were in good condition.

*FTF* I headed out this morning to pick up these caches as FTFs and to start me off in the Battleships game. The containers are so new I got green paint on my fingers haha! Thanks for the hide and contributing to the game
