Description
Paperbark - Caroline Springs Walk
Take a stroll and enjoy getting outside just for the fun of finding some geocaches.
Caroline Springs, just 25km west of Melbourne is a thriving community with a great trail of paths and walkways between the artificial lakes, ponds and creeks. Set in 800 hectares of grazing land Caroline Springs was developed on greenfield land since starting in 1999. At the north of the suburb is the town square and main shopping centre known as CS Square, and a man-made lake known as Lake Caroline. This series of geocaches takes you along some of the lesser-known pathways around various creeks and waterways on the edge of Caroline Springs.
The cache you seek is a 200ml Sistema container painted to blend into the surrounds. Always be aware of snakes around water and leaves and think before you put your hands into any hole or where you can’t see the ground.

Many thanks caughtatwork, enjoyed our day exploring the area.
This was my first stop for the day and the cache was quickly spied. From there, the walk was on.
Thanks [email protected] all good.
In the past we have enjoyed finding GCA caches along the pathways beside the Western Ringroad and around Caroline Springs so we were looking forward to making a start on the caches that had been placed since March 2020.
This was first on our GCA list. Good coordinates and a useful hint enabled a quick find of a well hidden cache.
Thanks for this cache Caughtatwork. Container and contents were in good condition.

Moving further west from my successes along the Glengala Drain Trail I stopped of here for a pair of paperbarks as the sun was setting.
An excellent finish to a wonderful afternoon/evening FTF run.
Thank for all of the caches caughtatwork
