Description
Round the bend - Caroline Spring Walk
Just taking a stroll, finding some geocaches is what we’re here for today.
Caroline Springs, just 25km west of Melbourne is a thriving community with a great trail of paths and walkways between the artificial lakes, ponds and creeks. Set in 800 hectares of grazing land Caroline Springs was developed on greenfield land since starting in 1999. At the north of the suburb is the town square and main shopping centre known as CS Square, and a man-made lake known as Lake Caroline. This series of geocaches takes you along some of the lesser-known pathways around various creeks and waterways on the edge of Caroline Springs.
The cache you seek is a 200ml Sistema container painted to blend into the surrounds. Always be aware of snakes around water and leaves and think before you put your hands into any hole or where you can’t see the ground.
Logs
Yes a live frog.
Surprised me.
Think it was all the moisture.
Unfortunatley not good for the cache condition.

Many thanks caughtatwork, enjoyed our day exploring the area.
Thanks again C@W.
Unfortunately she could only drain the water out as she had used her only fresh tissue drying the container at the previous stop. The log book was saturated and the pages tore when she tried to sign. The cover was not quite so wet and she signed that.
Thanks for this cache caughtatwork. This cache is in needed of owner attention. It was another FTF at 11:00
