Description
The Crack - Caroline Springs Walk
When water flows, this may be unavailable, but water rarely flows through here, it seems more for decoration that actual water. Be brave here, but be ware of snakes and other wildlife.
Caroline Springs, just 25km west of Melbourne is a thriving community with a great trail of paths and walkways between the artificial lakes, ponds and creeks. Set in 800 hectares of grazing land Caroline Springs was developed on greenfield land since starting in 1999. At the north of the suburb is the town square and main shopping centre known as CS Square, and a man-made lake known as Lake Caroline. This series of geocaches takes you along some of the lesser-known pathways around various creeks and waterways on the edge of Caroline Springs.
The cache you seek is a 200ml Sistema container painted to blend into the surrounds. Always be aware of snakes around water and leaves and think before you put your hands into any hole or where you can’t see the ground.

Not quite the ole London Bridge.
MMMM those arches could come in handy!
The cache was nicely hidden.

Many thanks caughtatwork, enjoyed our day exploring the area.
Checked the wrong one to start but once I moved a little further on, and dug around a little, the cache was soon seeing sunlight for the first time in a while. Log was signed and the cache returned to its little dark corner, ready for the next finder.
Thanks for this one [email protected] fits in well and is in good shape.
