Description
Gum Tree Rocks - Caroline Springs Walk
Take another rest or find another geocache.
Caroline Springs, just 25km west of Melbourne is a thriving community with a great trail of paths and walkways between the artificial lakes, ponds and creeks. Set in 800 hectares of grazing land Caroline Springs was developed on greenfield land since starting in 1999. At the north of the suburb is the town square and main shopping centre known as CS Square, and a man-made lake known as Lake Caroline. This series of geocaches takes you along some of the lesser-known pathways around various creeks and waterways on the edge of Caroline Springs.
The cache you seek is a 200ml Sistema container painted to blend into the surrounds. Always be aware of snakes around water and leaves and think before you put your hands into any hole or where you can’t see the ground.

Lucky for me the cache was hidden from the nearby homes.
I had to put a smiley on it.
But I also had to javelin throw practice.
Whom knows maybe the Master's Games one day.
Think I'm past LA in 4 years.
