Description
Another Black Bridge - Caroline Springs Walk
This geocache is a might larger than the other black bridge geocache here and has been placed here simply because finding urban locations can be tough for a 400ml container and … why not, it’s geocaching after all.
Caroline Springs, just 25km west of Melbourne is a thriving community with a great trail of paths and walkways between the artificial lakes, ponds and creeks. Set in 800 hectares of grazing land Caroline Springs was developed on greenfield land since starting in 1999. At the north of the suburb is the town square and main shopping centre known as CS Square, and a man-made lake known as Lake Caroline. This series of geocaches takes you along some of the lesser-known pathways around various creeks and waterways on the edge of Caroline Springs.
The cache you seek is a 400ml Sistema container painted to blend into the surrounds. Always be aware of snakes around water and leaves and think before you put your hands into any hole or where you can’t see the ground.

Many thanks caughtatwork for placing this series of caches, we enjoyed our wander around the area.
Thanks for another quick walk by and grab caughtatwork. Container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for the good quick find [email protected] all good.
I pulled out the treadly dusted off the cobwebs.
After dropping the geodaughter at school I headed to the springs area for some smileys.
I made much harder work on this than needed.
I literally was nearly swimming for this one.
I ducked left and then I ducked right.
Cobwebs a plenty.
In the end a good torch would have helped!!
