Description
Duck Pond - Caroline Springs Walk
You might start to hate me again. Yes this one is magnetic. Yes this one is a nano. Yes this one is black. But the hint, as always, very helpful because to me the game is about finding the geocaches, not about a needle in a haystack.
Caroline Springs, just 25km west of Melbourne is a thriving community with a great trail of paths and walkways between the artificial lakes, ponds and creeks. Set in 800 hectares of grazing land Caroline Springs was developed on greenfield land since starting in 1999. At the north of the suburb is the town square and main shopping centre known as CS Square, and a man-made lake known as Lake Caroline. This series of geocaches takes you along some of the lesser-known pathways around various creeks and waterways on the edge of Caroline Springs.
The cache you seek is a nano container disguised to blend into the surrounds. Always be aware of snakes around water and leaves and think before you put your hands into any hole or where you can’t see the ground.
