Description

Eternity ring is a ring made of precious metal set with gemstones, usually diamonds, given by a spouse to their betrothed on the occasion of a significant anniversary, typically ten years or more of marriage.

A large diamond is usually set in the engagement ring, and smaller stones used in the eternity ring. One campaign slogan aimed at husbands was, "She married you for richer or poorer. Let her know how it’s going".

When I was engaged a large diamond didn't appeal to me, I preferred two hearts entwined similar to my mother's engagement ring. For my eternity ring I was hoping there was a matching pair of smaller diamonds (again similar to my mum's).

Muggle Hubby wanted to buy me an eternity ring for our first wedding anniversary and after a great search we found it.

The requirement for you to log this Locationless cache is to take a photo (not download it off the internet, nor a replica in an advertisement) of an eternity ring on someone's finger.

WE have been biding our time, waiting to see someone with an eternity ring on her finger. Today Mrs y'stassie went to embroidery and there was one (only one!) person with an eternity ring. The rings below are slightly older than mrs youngoldfella's set ... 48 years for the engagement ring, 47 years for the wedding ring and 46 years for the eternity ring. The eternity ring was made from my snuggle muggle's late grandmother's rings so has double the sentimental value.

Many thanks for this different one today. I had just completed hosing and brooming the big shed floor ready for painting and Chris is inside painting the Dining and Family room and I took a break waiting for my floor to dry and saw this. Chis obliged and placed her rings back on. Might see some paint on her hand. I am a lucky human. 48 years married and 51 years since we first met. I also bought this ring for Chris on our first wedding anniversary when I had hair. TFTLC Clan Minotaur
