Description
Did you know that Dharawal is actually a dialect used by a number of bands of Aboriginal groups?
This is a great area for a bushwalk or to scoot around on the MTB. There are also a few caches out here so get on you bike and enjoy the bush!
We also hope you enjoy the cache.

Had a long hunt around the GZ but alas it was a DNF for me.
Probably did not help that a tree has fallen down on & around the GZ.

Picked up this one under the guise of an archived GC cache...Two for the price of one!

No found log for two years!?!
After an entertaining Cub Scout Training Course I took a detour here for a fairly quick find.
It looked so obvious, but no one notices!

Hi Homedg,
Threw the mtb on the back of the car and headed out to Wedderburn today for a spin. Haven't been to the Vic Rd end of Dharawal for a ride or walk in ages (been exploring the western and southern end instead).
It was already warming up when I parked the car. Lifted the bike over the fence and rested it at the nearby sign board before ducking off into the bush. My memory failed me and I looked in all the wrong places first before seeing the cache was right under my nose. One of the side clips has broken off and even though it was dry inside the log book was damp-ish. Signed the log then headed off for a spin.
My reason for coming out today was to look for some trees that had been manually tagged by the Koala spotters and I found them. Before GPS technology became ubiquitous the Koala spotters would nail a metal tag to trees that Koalas had been found in. The tag had the date of the find on it and its location was recorded by hand (remember writing down coordinates ). About 4-5k's from the car park there are a few trees right next to the trail that still have tags on them and I was very happy that after several years I was able to find them again just by memory (but I had trouble finding the cache by memory, go figure). Forgot my camera but I will hopefully be out this way again on Saturday so I hope to get photos then.
Satisfied with my find I continued on to the end of the West Vic' Rd fire trail, turned around and on the way back did the Pheasant Ck trail as well (wont bother with Pheasant Ck again, nothing to see down there). Trails were rough, sandy, overgrown and I rode through hundreds of spider webs. Found a cache, found the tagged trees and had a good ride, top morning I'd say.

Already did this one as a GC.com cache but being in the area today I decided to log it for the second time!

FTF - as a relisted GCA cache. Thanks homedg for the second shot at this one. Still have a few more of your caches in this area to do. Geo-pup wasn’t happy with the no dogs sign near GZ. We exchanged swaps.
