Description
This is one of a few caches that I am publishing around the Cairns region during the 2021 Game of Batteships. We are visiting our grandkids having not seen them during the COVID 19 pandemic.
Unfortunately I have not been able to buy any small ships to place in the caches so they are starting with toy cars and usually a pathtag that I had made in preparation for a trip to North America last year, which I obviously could not attend. If you are playing the game I hope you are having more luck than me. More misses than strikes when I fire!
There is parking available relatively close to all the caches but you will need to be careful as Cairns is a very busy city these days compared to when we first started visiting here years ago.

A day trip to Cairns, finding caches placed since our last visit and this was one of them.
A quick find, cache and contents in good condition.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 57. Cairns (again) Day 8. With no big targets today, I set myself two walks to try and get a few of the more remote caches. First was the hill behind Bentley park, an underused track but a nice climb for three caches. Next I moved to the tracks above the botanic gardens where I managed to find four more of Walters tricky puzzle caches.
After my walk over the hill behind this cache, I drove along to this one and dig the container out of the reluctant hide.
Thanks for the cache Smittengranny
